I’m a green woodworker. Mainly pots, sooons and bowls. Always admired the patience it takes to make a basket from foraged materials! Hope to have a go sometime soon with ivy after seeing this.😊 Great video. It would be cool to see you gathering some (you might have that I’ve only just stumbled across your channel ) keep it up 🤗
Very inspiring! I want to start doing this for sure. I live on a little farm and the overgrowth is crazy. I now know how I can make it enjoyable to keep things up. Thank you for sharing! I have tried making a few baskets from seeing people make them at artisan fairs a few times with willow and it inspired me to make some. I know they didn't turn out too good because I don't have them anymore... but with the world so fast... I want to have. slow(er) life and I love to create things. I have the perfect space to make a studio so I am going to start foraging! So exciting... I can't wait to see more of your beautiful creations.
I done few pine but left for 2-4 weeks on the windows bord wit shaking each days. Remove liquid to jar and keep in fridge and used small spoon to boost immune each morning. Pine I was again used with cane sugar and 60-95% alkohol for 6-8 weeks in dark place with shaking each days. After was fill with juice in to bottle to achieve 40% of alcohol. Some test good 😂
You're literally living my dream life. I'm hoping to study at SRUC at Edinburgh in a year or two, once I get my A level biology through an intensive course.
Really sorry you had to go through that and hope that you are taking good care of yourself. This video is truly stunning from start to finish. I keep coming back to it and marvelling at how every single frame is beautiful; I cannot imagine how much work you must have put into it. Thank you so much for sharing your art, thoughts, and voice. (Also thank you for sharing about autism and burnout. I hope you know how special that feels for us autistic folks.) Warm thoughts <3
I’m sorry you had to go through all that trauma, but I’m happy that you’ve found your balance again and have a smile back on your face. I hope the future brings you many, many happy times. Sending a hug to you all 💛💐
@2:30 Literally though-I slacked hardcore this year before I started weeding regularly, and the dandelions hit my lavender bushes like mad. Interesting as heck though because they seemed to prefer growing in those because they would use them as a sort of garden cloche/trellis (cage/supports) and grow INSANELY tall. I'm talking like up to my navel and I'm nearly 6 ft. Had to look around like wh---am I--are these fake dandel---... JAYSUS! Yeah, "who asked" moment but it was interesting aight
i will be studying horticulture at my college here in the states. I am from Oklahoma USA. my end goal is to be a Head Grower at a marijuana nursery/ eventually have my own business researching and growing weed for medicinal use.
What a lovely way to express your whole process. I smiled along with your friends and read your words to encourage yourself as you remembered times that showed comfort with friends in a place you cherished.Glad your friends moved along with you and that you have a new place to build memories with friends. I love hearing your choice of music, all that you like to do with nature and your creative storytelling. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so sorry you went through that experience, but hopefully the new flat will bring great things with it. The greed with landlords is out of control. You have such nice friends. I'm always so happy to see a new video from you. Can't wait to see the new place all decorated in your witchy goblincore style. All the best! Sending hugs
Could you weave with fresh ivy?? I'm clearing a big patch at my dad's and I was wondering if I used dried sticks, and fresh ivy, would that perhaps work..? Also new to your channel, thankyou for sharing your talents 🎉 Edit: just got to 17mins in and guess that question is now answered 😅
Really lovely film. I wonder if making yourself some kind of a small shuttle might streamline your process. I think it could make it easier to manage your cordage as you weave.

Hello from the San Francisco Bay Area! I’m a theatrical scenic artist, and manage the scenic art studio for a large regional theater. I get a lot of joy making things with found materials. I particularly like working with invasive species or things I’ve grown in my tiny urban back garden.
I love this Hanna, thank you so much for this wonderful little tutorial, you’ve definitely inspired me to have a go ( though I’m not very good at painting) 😊
Amazing 🥹 you’ve inspired me to return to my mushroom model making! Your ideas for the gills and the veil spots are great, I could never figure those out!! Also I just love that your way of making the models is completely different than mine 💕 happy mushroom making, friend 🍄
