I just got diagnosed today and I'm ecstatic. For 15 years ive struggled to wake uo in the mornings, and spent days foggy and exhausted. 15 events per hour, as low as 83% saturation. From reading other comments, I'm bouncing off the walls excited. Feels like theres hope!
I've had the 11.5" Queen Saatva Classic Plush for 3 weeks and love it. So comfortable and zero back pain. This is the second online bed I bought. The first was a well known latex bed in a box mattress that I ended up returning. The Saatva is a keeper. I'm a older female, 5'4" 144 lbs, mostly side but sometimes back sleeper.
Constructive criticism - that background music is so distracting. I don't understand why people always put it there. It serves no purpose than to annoy the viewer.
are auditory hallucinations common in SP? i always hear radio and static even though i don’t any kinds of those devices in my room. sometimes i’ll hear voices and chatter even though i live alone. i notice shortly after falling asleep after an SP episode, i getting exploding head syndrome too where it feels like my ears are about to explode because of a REALLY, REALLY, loud sound. it always feel likes i’m in the middle of a tornado and the wind is just deafening me. i’m seriously thinking of visiting my doctor.
Interesting i keep have precognitive dreams.. The night before 9/11 i dreamt a plane crashed into st pauls cathedral.. Yesterday morning i had a dream i saw my neighbour being put into a ambulance then several hours later i had a phone call from a friend asking if we could look after there baby as her partner was very ill when we got there he was being put into a ambulance
I suffered from chronic insomnia from 2000-2016 but everything that you suggested never worked for me since my case is more severe than you think it is.
You can see just by the video, especially the first set is as thin as a piece of paper and my experience I have been looking for sheets for years. I’ve tried so many bamboo sheets and they’re garbage. They’re so thin.
In my personal experience, it’s the hose hooked up to the mask that will destroy your sleep. You can have a great mask , but the hose will catch onto your headboard , your nightstand , even trailing it behind the pillows, it will snag . And your hair will rip right out too. Why can’t they invent a CPAP fhat is able to generate air within the mask headgear itself . The problem with the machine is I feel like I’m a Hoover for 6 hours a night !
