Just found this and fixed my shed. Thanks a lot! Thought I was going to have to take the doors apart but no, all it took was some 2x4 and a rock. Feeling like an accomplished caveman now.
Ive just used this solution. I used a scissor car jack. Quarter of a turn lifted my large shed enough to put in an extra support to fix the sag in the door frame.
@paulashton473 bought the kit for a 14x10 (12 screws/plates in total, 6") back in May. Had my workshop sitting on it for 4 weeks now and no signs of any significant movement. Adjusted 2 or 3 of them after putting the workshop on but they've been brilliant and saved a lot of back breaking ground work 👌
My shed is on a concrete base and the door has dropped. I have tried to opening the door, even taking hinges off but no joy. The shed is full of shelving and storage boxes so difficult to lift as described in video. Is there another way to open the door?
I'm very very interested in that but I don't know who to talk to who to call him but I want to purchase it I need to know the price on that one the other one was 7705 this one I don't know doesn't show price
the Devil is in the detail.... no it does not take 51 seconds... the instructions are very poor and it is not clear where they are measuring from and not enough close up details ,be very cautious ...
Until you load the shed and they sink into the dirt. Useless idea. Level the ground and either lay a raft or get some shingle grids and put the shed on that.
What kind of brackets would be used for a 10×14 shed. The one I'm building, has 5) 4x4s running lengthwise and on top of that are 2x4 floor joists running widthwise. I guess I would need brackets for the 4x4s? Or are the 4x4s even needed at this point?
This is comic genius. They comedy is all in the timing and the way the comic here times vital information with a gust of wind is right up there with Peter Sellers and Laurel and Hardy. Genius I tell you.
My she is brand new and came with my new house. But the door is a lot worse than that and scrapes the floor when I open it. Do I need to do what you did? Or should i try and rehang the door?
