This is a collection of play through videos of various games between a dad and his daughter (and sometimes Dad and his friends) to help show how a game is played. Some games you may or may not have heard of, but by seeing them in action, it may help you in deciding if it is a game you would like to add to your personal collection or just seek out to play. You can email us at dvdplaythrough@gmail.com or visit our Facebook page at: facebook.com/DadvDaughter. TTR is so good boardgame serie. Its a blast to play and watch. I have only played a few maps but it always a fun time! A ranking video of the TTR would be fun!
Very helpful to understand the game ! I have a question though, when you discard your card (for example with Lady Danbury, someone discards their hand) you put it in front of you, but you haven't played it, shouldn't you put it under the pile instead? I am wondering in case you discarded a Daphne it's not like you played it but you have it in front of you
Hope you enjoy The Librarians: Quest for the Spear! Just be warned that there is a misprinted card in the setup of Mission 2 that kind of breaks that scenario. M1-170 Serpent Squad. On the front side, there is a line of text missing. Instead of being blank, it should read "Enters Play: Add 7 tokens to Serpent Squad per player."
Oh the foil promo cards are repeats of the cards already in the "2" deck? You have to find them and swap them out? I thought the foil promo cards were different "2" cards from what the game provided.
Great video, guys! I've recently become a big fan of Unlock! games. I got Game Adventures, and after playing the Ticket to Ride one, I was hooked. So I bought a few others, but I'm hoping to get this one (for the Sherlock game) soon.
@@DadvDaughter Indeed. For people who like this type of game (and love the Imperium series of games which this is based on), this is going to be their massive hit of the year. But yeah, we're all gamers, even if we like different things :)
Great video, guys! Already looking forward to you guys playing that new Ticket to Ride you mentioned. I believe it's Iberia on one side & South Korea on the other side. Looking forward to getting it myself too
There are special rules for 3 players, not 2 though, but I would not suggest this to be played with less than 5 players. That said, there are a couple of variants in BGG. I created one called Bounty Hunters, feel free to try it out and share your thoughts 😀
when i bought my first edition on 2005 it was quality mostly, ii never "upgraded" to the second and probably never will either after looking through the components and 2 days ago i look through the components of this version and i MIGHT buy it ONE day just to mix and mtatch, but i highly doubt it, i have so many other game candidates waiting in a long cue deserving my money and my time more ..
I have played the original game many times. Not sure how the mini expansion will affect the game, and it's such a classic press your luck game, I don't feel it needs any "expansions."
Just got this expansion for my birthday back in June. Was hoping for a step by step guide and yours is such an awesome one! Thank you for walking me through, going to subscribe simply because of how awesome you are.
Great video as usual, guys! Me & my family love this game. Very simple to learn, very cool card art & very educational. After moving on to the Time Warp mini expansion, we already wish there were other expansions for this. Another couple of decks/additional days would be great. We're even coming up with our own ideas too
Nice video! Component and quality wise do you prefer Ticket to Ride 10th Anniversary Edition or TtR: Europe 15th Anniversary Edition? Or are they more or less the same? I heard someone say they liked 10th Edition much better, but at least to me the trains seem kinda cooler in the 15th. Maybe comparison video is not needed, since you already have compared them to originals. I found a copy of 15th edition in shrik wrap 50 dollars.. Maybe I should buy it...Sound quite good deal 🤔
Great video as always. My work friend and I love this game. I believe, though, that first player in rounds 2 and 3 is determined by the watch that’s on top. Last in first out. Thanks again for making these videos!
