I left SA because the Mexicans (from SA) are EXTREMELY racist, after 20 years there I had enough of that. I lived in California, Arizona and Oregon before and didn’t really have much of a problem, I migrated from Mexico 48 years ago and never lived in a place where Mexicans were so prejudiced against Mexicans FROM Mexico. My husband of 28 years is English so we are an interracial family, ironically our kids didn’t have a problem, I guess that is because they were San Antonians? I don’t know. The problem isn’t whites or blacks but the Mexicans who have been there from previous generations. We moved to Oregon about five years ago, we love our lives here. Glad to be gone from that none sense. By the way our kids are still in San Antonio and they like living there.

Just came across this video… Horrible - floor plan! 1st in this time we’re living in ….. where storage place is a Must, there’s no adequate space, for extra kitchen stuff- like containers, and stuff? 2nd not enough lien closet space, - for extra comforters, towels, blankets? and 3rd the washing machine area…… again, not enough space( actually that should have its own room- like the whole down stairs area, with plenty of shelves, and clothes racks, or clothes rails?) Definitely, not very livable home. 🤷🏻♀️

Hi there As far as standard builders, not that I’m aware of .However, we do have a custom homebuilder that we deal with that builds homes and prices ranging anywhere from 200K all the way up to the multi million dollar homes. I know they also specialize in doing things like that so that might be an option
I didn’t see anything that looked like a basement to me. Just because there’s 3 levels, doesn’t mean the bottom level is a basement. If there’s a door that goes out into your yard, then that’s not a basement. Maybe I’m wrong, but a basement is supposed to be below ground level, right? Something to help protect you from a tornado.
Do you have the ability to project future builds in the SA area? As an example, We hope to initiate a build in early 2026 but we are pretty sure whatever exists now will be sold out... thanks

We can talk to builders and see what plans they have in the future but everything changes so quickly so it’s hard To say for sure . Hey there No , those are just the model homes that they staged! When they sell off Model homes they will usually sell off the furniture with it for a pretty low price .

You many want to look at healthcare. California allows Kaiser and I believe Texas does not. I mean it's up to the person, but may be something to consider.
If good cop and bad cop were selling a house, lol. Lovely homes at the right price though. I'm not opposed to quarter-round, though, it's functional and helps protect, the white baseboard.
We moved to SA from Colorado. These types of homes came out about 10 yrs ago and they are everywhere! Hundreds of cars parking on the streets at night because you technically cannot park on your driveway as you may block others from exiting. Car theft is high when you’re parked on the street so that was a definite NO GO, for my husband and our 3 teen drivers and there would never be enough room to park all of our vehicles. Also with that split level here in SA, not sure how well that will go with the floods we get.

You know thinking about it I wonder why more homes in Texas don't have basements.... but then us Texans would rather be on our porch watching the show waiting for one to come. We did when I was a kid. Pretty green skies and light shows.
We live in a part of Texas with limestone so basements would require blasting as they do for in ground pools. There’s underground aquifer and many caves. One lot in the neighborhood was leveled for a foundation and a cave was exposed rendering the lot useless for a home site. We are in a hilly area and many homes are multilevel, many with three stories and some with the main level upstairs to take better advantage of views.
Yeah, my family looked at these. They would work well for multiple generations who want to live separately yet together. The back yards of all 4 houses could be joined for one big shared outdoor area with a pool, garden, etc. neat concept.

San Antonio is only 2nd place to Chicago when it comes to ignorant, bigoted, racist Latinos. Go to a bar in San Antonio, and if you're black, you will be met by spurs fans that call you the n word if they get the chance. Skip San Antonio.

I visited San Antonio 5 years ago for a clinical trial say the least I did not make the cut I felt very unwanted everywhere I went, when I went to Grocery store , Walgreens or a fast food restaurant it’s like a lack of respect. Like you can walk into a store and not be greeted but a Spanish or white person comes in behind you and everyone is saying hello 👋 how are you. P.S the Spanish people in Texas act like Superior white privilege people. The Spanish think they are white 😂
Do you ever come across farmhouse style homes? I have seen many of your videos that the interior resembles farmhouse style but the exterior doesn't. I really love the big porches and that homey feeling you get when you are in one.
The houses are nice; however, there were some items that I personally didn't care for as much in the first house. What I appreciate most about this video is your transparency and honesty as you walk us through these homes. Not every home is perfect, and it was refreshing to hear you share what you like as well as what you don't like as much.
