Hey so I really wanna use your beats “Say It Loud”, “Excite the Pain” and “Finale” for free because I wanna use those beats to make Gospel music and to draw everybody in this world and that I know closer to God and I want to make positive messages out of these songs as well (great job on this beat btw 😊)
This is my 440th beat - almost at 500 now! - I've been continuing to write verses and concepts aren't different from producing at all. I've got some verses written and I've finally got 2 days off from work so I can spend that time getting myself recorded and on the board - see you tomorrow!
Any feedback is welcome here! That 808 bass was a little challenging to mix so it stood out enough but didn't overpower the other instruments or completely distort lol - it's my first 21 savage beat so thank you!
Thank you! All feedback is welcome - please let me know what I can improve and get better at - I know the drums aren't in the front but I did work on my mixing a lot for the later instrumentals I've made
First of all, you are a real one for remaking the specific sound ambience of this movie. It's a really cool beat even tho you could've been more crazy on the drums and the general ambiance. Keep doing this stuff !
Hey! Thanks for the kind words - I think your right, without this sounding like a joke it could be a skill issue for me - sometimes I get the drums nice and punchy through the mix, and balancing a lot of sounds to work together is just something that takes time to master - might be the sound selection - that low end is working as a bass and a kick at the same time but yeah I really wanted the ambience of the movie to be the ear grabber - thanks for the feedback! It's always welcome here
I did something called automative mixing here - the bass rumble gradually builds over the song so the full sonic pallet is near the climax - let me know how I did and what I can improve!
Broo! I updated this with all the new skills, the sample is me and mrs jones and the vocal sample is meet me on the moon by Phyllis Hyman! I got copyright struck for it thougu
@@beatsbyjoeharsley Damn that sucks g but thank you for the sauce. I've been going through your beats and I love the percs you use specifically for the College Dropout/Late Registration type beats. You got something special fr.
Might be the mix! The drums aren't punching cause one of the stems was already clipping really bad - I'm working on another one rn. I'll get the mix better on this next one!
