My Name is John McCabe. I am North Allegheny's original elevator photographer and I love to film elevators on RU-vid, Play lots of golf, and stay active. I used to film videos with my 2009 RU-vid black camera and I have been filming videos on RU-vid with my blue iPhone 5c since May 23, 2014 and now currently filming elevators with my black iPhone 7 since 10/15/2017. @@mr.z_elevators did not know that until now thanks for telling me! When did they modernize that elevator I’m about to go to Hilton Head which is today?!
@@elevatorgolfer2 There was a Montgomery in the mall years ago near the Purple Garage, but it has been ripped out and the elevator was replaced with a Schindler 5500, the area where the elevator used to be, is now home to a Lifetime Fitness.
Hey I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the only buttons you're supposed to push or are can push and it does anything or the floor buttons those other buttons are for somebody that has a key so they can operate the elevator
It might have been because the station was closed & has weird hours. Or that hall station might always be locked & you might have to try calling it on a different floor. And the actual apartment elevators aren't locked or anything.
I couldn’t tell if the elevator was working or not! It always works when the button lights off or unless they were finishing up the modernization project of the elevator!
I personally wouldn't use cinematic on a regular elevator video. It just seems to blur too many things that should only be blurred in a movie (& not in an elevator video).
I wouldn’t use cinematic mode all the time (I’ll use cinematic mode occasionally here and there)! I’ll switch it up between regular, ProRes (which I haven’t used ProRes yet)
I would recommend not putting the location in the title since you're an employee there just in case something happens. Not saying anything will, but just to be on the safe side.
Thank you so much! I really love working at Whole Foods Market! Wanted something better than a Schindler HT even though there are some nice Schindler HT elevators out there!
