Here at Trail Thrills, we make videos on our off road adventures, How-To videos, reviews and so much more! We explore the country in our 2011 Jeep Rubicon JKU, traveling the most scenic trails in the U.S. As always, if you like what you see from us, it would be very appreciated if you could SUBSCRIBE!
Were you intentionally trashing on your rig for the camera? Just seemed like you were going faster than I'm used to and intentionally not driving a 'line'. Like when you got hung up on that big rock. I wouldn't want to get back there and tear something off my truck, especially alone.😢 I've wheeled there before and we all thought it was pretty tame but definitely a fun drive and very scenic. There were definitely a few places to test your vehicle.
Cool video. I am more a Landcruiser guy. Jeeps roll too easy and breakdown more. As they say, "If ya wanna get there- take a Jeep. If you wanna get back, drive a Landcruiser." I run this trail in a UTV which is even more stable and lower to the ground still with great clearance and a crawl gear. Airing down a bit more would help with traction 4:09 You could use some suspension and exhaust work and a real roll cage. We run Moab all the time. Why was your 4x4 not working? Only one wheel was spinning- terrible. 4:12 Who is WE? 12:00 Dude- you are the only one in your Jeep- your special pretend friends? Was someone hiding in the back seat out of view?
Badass video and easy to install directions. Kept thinking about buying the front driveshaft and noticed its gone up in price now. Used to be 500 bucks, now 569. Damn!
I live in Minnesota now but I grew up in the mountains of NC. 2B is most driveways in NC😂 but in all seriousness off-roading is fun and I can’t wait to get back in it.
@@Ontrail82 dirt roads in the deep woods in a flat country get boring after a while. The best places have been transformed to accomodate monocrop farmland.
@@scottishd0g87 you haven’t found the rocky areas looking over Lake Superior then lol …there’s rock crawling to be done in those areas! Gotta do more research!
@@Ontrail82 it all sucks. There is just nothing really worth seeing. Plenty of mud pits and just enough obstacle courses to justify owning a Jeep but you really gotta go out of state for anything epic.
Superior national forest is underrated, it is in North East Minnesota so it is out of the way and most of it visitors are people that live in the state.
I was disappointed with this place. Go down the road a bit to interlakes. These guy make a big deal of Redbird, I earned 3 of the 4 badges in a lifted liberty on 32's
We did the Mesabi trail for the first time over the summer it was a blast! but like you said I also didnt make it thru the whole trail as well my first time, so looking forward to going back. Nice Video
You guys should have went to the Iron Range ORV recreation area while you were in Gilbert doing Mesabi Mountain trail. They’re like ten minutes away from each other. I haven’t done either area yet but will soon
