absolutely game-changing setup for KBD and electrics. mapping left and right on 8 and 12 works pretty great but I'm curious what buttons you use for left and right (from the haute 16 button layout)? i have a regular m16. thanks a lot for ur guides, really underrated!
If you have a lot of extra money then it’s probably fun to get just to see what it’s like to use extra buttons. If not, I personally wouldn’t replace a kitsune. The kitsune isn’t a bad controller by any means, I just think it’s too expensive for what you get
Wow i didn't even know punishment training was an option. Ive always just done it old school way in a match by starting with a i10 and work your way up until it doesn't fit and stay with that. Cool
@@Chris_F appreciate the response and love your videos man! One of the main resources I’ve been recommending to friends who are just getting into fighting games through SF6
I have M+ with 12 buttons. Swapped the crystal switches out for phantom switches and love it. Phantoms just make it feel really smooth but crystals were still decent.
Depends on the game! SF6 I set DI on the button below MK and then in use the rest of the extra buttons for shortcut commands in training mode. My setup for tekken is much more complicated so check out this video to see what I do: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vHYML50urw0.htmlsi=t3e5PAjo_0ZZDkwz
Adding ps5 compatibility ONLY works if they (or any controller company) pay Sony to make it an officially licensed product, which will cost the consumer way more than just buying a mayflash adapter. Is that what you want?
@@Chris_F isn’t it just a matter of outdated PCB? Snackbox micro is not officially licensed with ps5 but they have a ps5 compatible versions. So does a few other leverless but its disappointingly not common. I do like the haute layout though , sadly it’s not ps5 compatible yet. Having to carry yet another item (ps5 adapter) is just annoying.
@vhex61 it’s not about it being an outdated pcb. snackbox uses the brook ps5 board which is more expensive than a standard brook board bc of the ps5 functionality. My issue with that is the brook ps5 board (other than working on ps5) offers nothing better than what a GP-2040 does. GP-2040 offers a TON of functions like profile switching, complete button mapping configuration and other really great features. For me, those features + the low price (easily replaced in case of damage) are more than worth having to carry another adapter around
i cannot seem to get the backdash drill to work. geif won't backdash fast enough on wakeup and i just end up meaty throwing him. i"m even doing recording after input and still having issues.
Slightly easier than the T16 (which I assume feels almost the same as the R16) I really suggest buying some finger socks for mobile phone gaming and putting them on the finger(s) you slide with. Makes it MUCH easier
@@Silent_Avenger I know but my question is more is there any way to update this controller without buying anything else (if the next switch is "easy" to add)? Like a patch ? Or in any case, I will need to buy an extra stuff ? cause there is no way to add any new platform on this controller without buying a converter.
I'm waiting until later this week to work on any more anti guides since there MIGHT be some small balance changes with the M. Bison patch. I'll be back with more after that!
Thanks for the review I always wanted to try a leverless controller and loved the look of the Kitsune but the price is ridiculous. I love the layout on this one and it has way more options.
Looks like an incredibly well-designed controller. I think I'd rather have 24 mm buttons for less travel time though, and to keep most of the buttons within super quick reach.
I used to feel that way too, but once I started practicing on the 30mm buttons I found that it doesn't make much of a difference at all for me. We're all different so pick what works for you!
Are slide movements controller possible?, bassically are u able to slide ur fingers across the buttons to make half circle movements for throws in t8 easier?
Yes, totally possible - I can do wavedash throw with king using slide without issues. HOWEVER, I highly suggest buying some finger sleeves used for mobile phone games and putting them on the finger(s) you use to slide. It makes it SO much easier!
Absolutely love my M16 Plus, though I felt the opposite on one bit, I had the smaller version and upgraded to the Plus because I wanted a little more space for my palms. Highly recommend the Lofree Ghost switches if you can get a handful of them to try out, the only complaint I had with the original was the switch sensitivity and the Ghosts have a little more weight to them, so no more accidental inputs from resting my fingers on the buttons. You really can't beat these things for as cheap as they are, the quality is great, and it's a no brainer to recommend.
Nice! Thanks a lot! But I think, I have to wait until it comes to germany. Looking for the smaller Keys in the S16 for the beginning. Should be more than enough for getting into it. If it gets serious, I'll update to something like this one. Thanks for your videos!
@@fluff0808 I'm in the UK, so I won't report my price as it might not be in your currency. However, I searched for 'mayflash x adapter' and one of the top links gave me the price in my location and my currency.
That’s how I felt the first time I used the T16 but honestly it’s pretty easy to adjust to. I can play on ball top, bat top and leverless so maybe I’m just easier at adapting than most, but if the size is holding you back I don’t think it’s a big issue!
@@gabenewell7505 hahaha the fightbox is not even near as good as mayflash flat but even still the haute is better and the regular hitbox is laugahble. no one with a brain is buying a hitbox for retail price lol
@gabenewell7505 I really dislike the ergonomics of both (the edge cuts into my wrists) and they are large enough to make travelling to my locals annoying. I also think both have pretty poor PCBs which offer nothing over the GP-2040
This has been my go to leverless, I might even like it more than my Kitsune, the all metal build feels awesome and much less of a fingerprint magnet. I think the buttons are real nice, the glossy sides together with the LED lighting make it look slick, it's funny that the Kitsune doesn't have RGB on the buttons. You can also use the Booter 5 that Haute/Cosmox sell, it's really low profile.
Haven't tried the crystal switch. Comparing to the red v2, I love the wind engines switch. I can feel the different when pressing the button with my pinky finger.
Wind engine switches definitely feel more responsive and less mushy than the crystals. Only downside is they block the rgbs and are a little bit noisier
I I just started using lever less controllers and I started off with two of the Haute controllers. I finally figured out how to update them from your videos and others. I personally like my Haute controller that has all 24mm buttons and only one 30mm (the main jump button).
Best bang for the buck on the market. I made my first hit box almost 6 years ago with an obsidian, bought a true hit box 4 years ago. I bought this for when friends come over, but now its my go to!
It released fairly recently so in hindsight I don't think you made a mistake getting those first! Plus I still love my T16, it's easy to put custom art in which is always nice
are you still using DI on the extra right thumb button and parry on top right pinky? what do you think of DI on extra left thumb button and parry on extra right thumb button? :)
