Really wish Canon would have committed. But I'm still very happy with it in 2022. Have dust in the lens though considering buying another maybe the XC15 this time. This just gets it done. Love the look and the focus is extremely functional.

...this was cool and practic...the new one without front pocket and organizer is bad because of it...for me :-( I do not need big front pocket like on my 40 a 50, this is town bag and I need organizer and place for my laptop...I have to have special bag/backpack for my things and laptop now...and tripod only on one side...I hope I will find the old one somewhere in a stock

Ne pas faire confiance à Photospecialist!! Il leur a commandé un appareil photo le 8 janvier. Ils ont promis de me le livrer dans les deux jours. Mais après 5 jours, je ne l'ai toujours pas reçu, alors je les ai contactés. Ils m'ont dit qu'ils contacteraient la société de livraison UPS pour voir ce qui ne va pas. Je suis allé vérifier la loi et j'ai lu que tant que la livraison est retardée, le client devrait avoir droit au remboursement intégral. Mais ils ont refusé de me rembourser intégralement en disant que sans avoir vu l'appareil leur être livré, ils ne le rembourseront jamais. Cela fait maintenant trois semaines que j'ai payé l'appareil photo. Je ne l'ai toujours pas reçu. Toutes les demandes de remboursement ont été rejetées. Aucune compensation. Rien. Ils continuent à dire qu'ils attendent la réponse de la société de livraison. J'ai dit que j'avais besoin de l'appareil photo pour mon travail en urgence et que je perdais de l'argent à cause du retard. Ils s'en fichaient. J'ai dit que vous ne devriez pas demander à vos clients de payer pour vos problèmes puisque je n'ai pas choisi la société de livraison et que je n'ai pas non plus payé pour cela. Ils ont dit que ce n'est pas leur problème, que ce n'est pas leur faute. C'est la faute de la société de livraison. Et ils m'ont demandé de payer pour tout. Et qu'ils ne me rendraient pas d'argent tant qu'ils ne recevraient pas l'appareil photo rendu. Et ils vous demandent de payer les frais de livraison pour le retour de l'appareil photo. Un appareil photo qui serait retardé de plus d'un mois, pour obtenir un remboursement complet, ils vous demandent de payer les frais de livraison, au lieu de vous offrir toute compensation à laquelle vous avez droit !!!!!! Je suis furieux. Tout ce que je peux faire, c'est de faire passer le mot et d'en avertir plus de gens. Ne faites pas confiance à Photospecialist !!!!!! Faites passer le mot !

DO NOT TRUST Photospecialist!!!!!!! Ordered a camera from them on 8th, January. They promised to deliver it to me within 2 days. But after 5d I still haven't received it so I contacted them. They said they'd contact the UPS delivery company to see what's wrong. I went to check the law and read that as long as the delivery gets delayed then the customer should be entitled to the full refund. But they refused to give me a full refund saying that without seeing the camera delivered back to them they will never give any refund. Now it's been 3 WEEKS since I've paid for the camera. Still haven't received it. Refund requests all rejected. No compensation. Nothing. They continued to say that they are waiting for the reply from the delivery company. I said I needed the camera for my work urgently and I've been losing money because of the delay. They didn't care. I said you shouldn't ask your customers to pay for your problems since I didn't choose the delivery company nor did I pay for it. They said it's not their problem, it's not their fault. It's the delivery company's fault. And they asked me to pay for it all. And that they will not give any money back as long as they don't receive the camera returned. And they ask you to pay for the delivery fee of returning the camera. A camera that'd be delayed for more than a month, to get a full refund they ask you to pay for the delivery fee, instead of offering you any compensation that you are entitled to!!!!!! I'm furious. All I can do is to spread the word and warn more people of it. DO NOT trust Photospecialist!!!!!! Spread the word!

Maakt ultrawide (21:9) bedrijfsvideo voor bedrijf dat zich 'de specialist in foto en video' noemt, maar uploadt dat met zwarte balken in 16:9 zodat ik op mijn ultrawide monitor aan alle zijden zwarte balken heb. Edit: zie nu dat het toch niet helemaal 21:9 is, maar meer iets tussen 16:9 en 21:9. Punt blijft hetzelfde :D

I have a pretty worn Pro Trekker 300 and have just ordered the Whistler 450. Mainly because of the extra storage on the back/front... I mostly hike for landscapes and although the Trekker has been great, the Whistler looks handier.... My only criticism of the Whistler is losing the side storage pockets including the water bladder pocket that the Trekker has... A simple but major fuck up on Lowepro's part, considering it would have been so easy to add.
