The MDC 100 sucks, in fact all Motorola dash cams suck! Do yourself a favour and save your money and buy another brand! I had one and it lasted just out of warranty!
True user review. Junk. Interface buttons misplaced, very bad loop recording... Immediately writes over last recording instead of sequencial looping. Lasted 8 months before i just get a white boot screen. Death of a bad dash cam. Camera lens and chip were good but not able to hold nearly enough memory since the loop recording was so bad you were forced to switch to long recording and manually go in and unlock all the videos it randomly locks. Then go delete them all so it will start recording again... My grandparents vhs recorder in 1988 had more intelligence than this thing.
Hi, wondering if you might be able to help, I'm wondering about the wifi range of one of these cameras as I was thinking of using it in a trailer and monitoring it from the car - do you think it would have enough strength in the signal to do that?
found this video because some twonk hit my car in a car park and vanished. Got the parts to replace with, got the screws out, no joy on movement. I'll try again after the storm that's rolling by...
@@redtela I managed to do it in the end. They are push clips so you have to pull straight towards you and it pops out. Do have to give it a bit of force though.
@@soldiers303 thanks for the prompt on this, all sorted after the storms died down. Pushing on the back of the grey pin with a screwdriver helped to pop the light loose, then just a panel puller down the side to help it wiggle free
Turns on when it gets power from the socket wich will deliver power when the ignition is on. Camera will alwas save the footage and when the storage is filling up the camera will remove the first footage on the card and keep saving new footage, if you need to save footage you simply pull the card into a computer and save it on the computer.
