My oldest Weathertechs are from 2007, which are in my truck. Cowboy boots worn daily and they are like new. the logo stickers fell off and slightly faded black material after washing over the years. However, besides that, I could probably get 50 more years out of them. Looks like I’ll get a set for my Tesla also

Hello Brian! I just installed Tesla wall charger, gen3, and i was able to cjarge my model 3 with 48A, but then, like 15 mins later, my circuit breaker went down, and charging stopped. I turned it on, and it charged again with 48A, but then i lowered it 32A because i just looked at the circuit breaker, and it says 40A. Now i have no idea what to do. Please give some advice to me to be able to charge mine with 48A.
@BrianFischer
@BrianFischer 2 месяца назад
1. Call an electrician. You can't pull 48A from a 40A breaker. You need a 60A breaker to safely run 48A. I can't tell you if it's okay to replace the 40A breaker with a 60A breaker without being at your home and looking at your panel. That's why I say to call an electrician. I'm assuming you're in the USA.

For some reason, my wall connector automatically reads and sends 48A juice into my car. But then my 40A circuit breaker can't handle it, obviously, and stop charging.

The jack stand should positioned near the front of the car. They are safer than a hydraulic jack. Also. this video is not for all Ford escapes. There are 3 different engines on the 2018 model.

Hey Brian! Not sure if you still actively respond to comments on here, but figured I would give it a shot. Im planning something similar and there are a few things I want to clarify. You mention to keep the table below the top of the fire pit to prevent it from catching on fire. This is my main concern. so if I keep the table below the top lip of the firepit, the heat shouldn't be extreme enough to burn the wood? Also, I like you're recommendation regarding the duct flange, but if that heats up, would it not do the same thing in the long run? Lastly, if you are burning a fire for a few hours, have you ever touched the flange or table to see how hot it gets? Im specifically curious because I want to use trex board (plastic-y deck wood) for the top surface. This would prevent it from weather damage, but also match my nearby deck :) Obviously, using a plastic-infused wood makes me even more nervous about the heat. In short, when you burn a fire in this setup, how hot does the edge of the wood/flange get?
@BrianFischer
@BrianFischer 3 месяца назад
To answer your question: 1. Yes, I would keep the table below the top lip of the fire pit. Heat goes up, not out. Only exception is if you are using a heat deflector to push it out. In that case, I don't know how it will perform. Never did that. 2. Yes, the flange would do the same thing eventually, which is why I put the automotive thermal tape underneath. That will protect the wood. 3. Nope, didn't touch the flange to see how hot it would get. One design change that might help -- Just make the the hole larger. Put more space between the table and the fire pit. If you made the circumference of the hole another 4-6" out, that may be enough to keep any heat away. Set a scrap piece of that TREX deck 6", 4" whatever away just below the lip and burn a fire for the evening. See what happens.

The guy just sharing his piece whilst not having done adequate research on what's available in the market, the likes of Hankook, Bridgestone, and etc. In fact, Hankook Ion evo said to be the best EV tire that's out there in the market, the very reason Hankook is the eFormula 1 official tire supplier. Do give Hankook a try and you will stark difference in terms of everything. Hankook EV tires beat Michelin Pilot Sport range in any day of the week.

I’m trying and I can’t get them in western Canada. Back ordered with no ETA according to Hankook rep and all local suppliers. I’m pissed off and due to bald factory MXM4’s and snow tires needing to come off as the weather warms, I’m forced to consider alternatives. Leaning toward Continental DWS06+. Thoughts?

Cars have a jack inside. Can buy a jackstand and filter wrench pretty cheap. Likely save money by the 2nd oil change. But more importantly, you can trust it was done properly granted using the jack that comes with vehicles is a pain to crank and slow
