The black plastic piece that you remove the cable from in the video is a piece I am having trouble with. It is a little loose, meaning it has up and down play. Which in return means that also when in gear I have a little left and right play with the gear shifter. Is there a way to remove only that part. Or to fix this I would have to change the whole gear lever assembly?
We have a 2019 Citroen c5 AIRCROSS 1.5 diesel automatic and in 2 years of ownership and good maintenance it has only worked twice possibly because we always have the radio on and run the heater or air con system.
I parked my Audi a4 convertible up for around 6 weeks. Now the alarm went off and I've got no electric hood operation or central locking or windows no working or reverse lights etc. Also charged battery now it's dead again. Any ideas would be so helpful
Tank you for this nervsaving Video! now its halftime. startermotor is out. have to ordner a new one. ist too rotten. selenoid is not switching... i ned a reliable camper van. so no Experiments with an exchange. Btw soaked the bolts with a little Balli*tol oilspray. also helped me with stuck brakes. have a nice time
Hello. Can you show where to connect the priming Tool? The 2 pipes from the Tank and to the Tank where allready connected before you connect the priming Tool?
We replaced the unit after watching your video, it worked as it should for a matter of days and then the heating stopped working altogether! Is there something that i have missed before i take it to the dealer to cost me an arm and a leg 😢 thank you.
Mines been sat for 3 years as battery would never hold charge. Believe it’s the main battery trying to constantly charge the dead backup battery in the alarm being a constant drain. Gonna give this a try. I’ve known for years it was there but never had confidence to risk messing up the hood mechanics. Feel it’s a no brainer now. Many thanks
I have 500x when warm its ticking i listen with my screwdriver on the alternator and it seems like its comming from there. Did it also made a ticking noise ?

Hi Mark, mine went at 12 midnight tonight, thanks to your video I managed to disconnect the cable but my resistor doesn’t seem to twist at all whether it be anti clockwise or clockwise?! Do I have to undo any screws or clips before twisting it?
Hey mate i wanted to ask on this specific vehicle the top thermostat you mentioned up top above the gearbox if i need to replace it due to it starting to leak can you buy a seal for it or a complete new unit cause mine is losing coolant from there so just wanted to find out thanks👍
@@kemsleygobey2357 most suppliers would supply the seal with a new unit. You could buy the individual seal from main dealer though. My recommendation would be to replace the whole unit though due to how common they are to fail. If you are taking it off to change the seal anyway, you may aswel change it all
My colleague had one and there was a random bumping noise. She took it back and back etc for ages and Fiat then declared that such a knocking noise is just normal or a design flaw or something else worded such a way.
