الدلالية هي قريبة من الحرفية وتعتمد على معاني الكلمات من القاموس دون الاهتمام بالسياق الثقافي او بالوضع الذي ورد فية النص. الوظيفية تخدم الغاية من الترجمة للنص وتهتم بالسياق.

You would think that something as simple as offering a series of -or even ONE video- videos where it explains in order the stages of practice for simultaneous interpreting would be easily found here on RU-vid, but no, everything had misleading titles and when you opened it, all it had was general information, but nothing as concrete as yours! Besides your videos, the ones from Interprepedia are the ONLY ones I have found useful! Once again, thank you for taking the time to make these videos!!!!
As you know, I'm a big fan of this channel and watch all the videos. Categorizing all the videos into playlists would greatly increase viewership. I know it may be a chore but it is worth it as this channel has a lot of potential to boom even more. God bless you, Dr.

Hello Dr. Ahmad Khuddro, your video was very helpful to me. I would like to start doing simultaneous interpretation from English and Spanish into Italian (which is my native language). As you said I need to start from shadowing, but should I start from Italian or English first? After I have enough practice, can I move on to the other exercises? So you advise against starting interpreting right away? Thank you very much for your kind reply.
You can start with transcription first, shadowing next, then sight translation, then SI. Always do interpreting into the language you are native or near-native.

There are many books. It depends on what you need. Theory and/or practice. From English into Arabic or vice versa. In which field? To be honest with you, you need some training sessions with a teacher.

Very informative professor thank you. In Italian we use the same idiom: "Il tallone di Achille" and it has the same exact meaning since it is taken from the same original myth from Homer's Iliade. I really like this short informative video format, keep it up!
