From the 2011 remaster liner notes by Shannon Hamm: "At the end of 1995, after Death had completed the Symbolic tour, Chuck decided that it was time for Control Denied to become a reality. I had just joined up with Chris Williams, Scott Clendenin, and Paul Payne of Talonzfury when Chris was offered an audition for the new up and coming Control Denied line-up. Chuck was impressed with Chris and officially tagged him as the drummer, they recorded three songs together for reference and I was thoroughly blown away when I heard them. Chris quickly recommended me as the second guitarist and passed on some old Metalstorm recordings for Chuck to check out."
@@arrell Not sure. Only reason I know is the Death By Metal doc on Amazon Prime. He names a few songs that were going to be on control denied. Great doc if you haven't seen it.
@@christiancampbell-sanderso5998 not really, it's actually the first Death song I saw a video of on the compilation VHS Live at Eindhoven. Was mesmerized. When you see a professional live performance it's much easier for you to learn.
I LOVE the internet. The more and more I discover about Chuck's last few musical movements the more I am ABSOLUTELY convinced that Control Denied was in fact a TRILOGY of albums, beginning with The Sound of Perseverance and ending with When Man and Machine Collide. What do YOU, excellent poster, think of Chuck's remaining work and its potential release?
@@VARVIS_ THANK YOU! The more research I dig into, the more I'm convinced of this. I'm glad he released TSOP and TFAE the way he did because we got 3 more classics on each (Flesh and The Power it Holds comes specifically to mind) that weren't part of the 96/97 10 song demos that lead to half the tracks on each album. That doesn't even take WMAMC into account. I'm so glad you agree!
worked like a charm, thank you, took me a few tries to figure it out, still no luck with the recipe, annoying :) The wormhole Generator doesnt proc the option often enough
