It's all about the timing and knowing what risks to take. Every light I went through, I knew the risk but also knew it was safe enough to take. I've been doing this a long time
Where I can buy or where I can find the abec 11 flywheels. I tryed on Amazon and i couldn't find it, also I live in argentina if you can help me I'll appreciate
clean and properly lubricated bearings are the most important but i always use internal spacers and will go as far as using washers additionally to dial preload. i tend to run cheap steel bearings for all my boards; my beater board is packed with teflon grease, my wet weather board gets lucas red and tacky, and if im trying to push a personal record ill sometimes use a silca drip wax without the inner shields. ive ran more expensive bearings but haven't had a noticeable difference beyond what a clean, well preloaded, and properly greased set up gets me.
@@Mikovv hey glad you enjoyed the video. So bearings do make a difference, I only ride ceramic bearings. Now what brand, I can't say 😂. But they do make a difference in terms of longevity and performance. But the comment about just having a well maintained set of bearings is right, but I'd recommend doing everything they said but with a set ceramic bearings, thank me later
@Mr.MeetJay. Nice set up brother. Hope the race season is going well. Are those abec11 107s? As for ceramic bearings - that's lush. However, have you tried bones big balls? They should spin for longer on bigger wheels. I've switched over to those on me eboard they spin my cloudwheels fe 120s for days. Keep rolling. Peace!
if your last season deck is bare right now you may wanna throw a set of independent 215s on just to try, reverse kingpins are joy but standards sit low and can be a fun way to play with deck height.
wheels make a huge difference on how a board feels but id love if you did a review of some cheap 97mm amazon wheels, ive been rocking them for awhile and for 40 dollars with bearings they are good enough to get folks started just a lil drifty on chatter.
Not necessarily. It just depends on the kind of pavement you are riding on. You can feel a difference though for sure but noticeably faster, I would say no
the blue 77a dad bods are much softer. Comparing the orange ones to those other two wheels you did is like comparing apples to oranges(no pun intended) . The 77a blue is closer to the other two do those. I want to see what you think others might to
The big wheel 77a we didn't have until recently so I compared the big wheels I had. So it's not really apples to oranges, it's in the big wheel categories
Was there a follow up review to this one? Also thanks for saving me money. My local was going to give me 15% off the Dad Bod wheels but that is still big $$ for wheels
