The keys are played in the “wrong place” because I played a version of the song that was written in a different key (G Major). The piano is Essex because that’s the company that made it. Look them up! They make great pianos! Mine specifically is the Essex EUP-123E Classic Studio.
It was from an intermediate book teaching ragtime music in an easier-to-read way so most songs were written in easier key signatures. I definitely want to learn the original now that I’ve gotten a bit better!
