I often heard the theory that the album is contructed like a tunnel, getting darker in the beginning, the middle being the darkest (e.g. Kintsugi, Fingertips) and then driving into the light in the end. Also, that makes sense with VB being the end because she said that VB is music to drive to and they just exited the tunnel, putting on VB, vibing... 🤯 Also your reaction to the white woman and corona lyrics cracked me up 😂 they pulled me out of the immersion too
That makes perfect sense!!! It really does have that effect especially in the beginning with the grants being the preface of what we are about to hear in this album. This album certainly felt more intimate if not the most (at least to me) e.g. kintsugi, fingertips and that’s what helps make it so special!!
