this didn't go according to plan actually. ayanokoji thought kei would give him up and was planning to use that to keep manipulating her but he didn't foresee her growth to shead the parasite persona. also ayanokoji did this for himself. not for kei. he just became free from the shackles that bound him. why give himself up? the answer. he wants to spend more time with kei, someone whos seen his true self and accepts him for it. thought he doesn't understand it and even lies to himself in his monologues. hes starting to care for her.
That is a pretty cool turn of events, having a plan based on expecting someone to betray you but receive a pleasant surprise of loyalty. It’s hard to remember Ayanokoji is doing everything for himself. The last part does make sense, he removed his mask and Kei still decides to stay with him.
@@MarcusMinor also another thing, why do you think ryuen and ibuki had a hard time believing atanokoji was the mastermind? it's because ayanokoji made himself look like he was a pawn ever since the island test. why would he make himself the new leader and not someone else? move forward a bit to the track race where he ran anchor. why would he gain all that attention if he was trying to lay low? move forward to when ryuen confronts koenji a few episodes ago. this is where you can see this realized in a sense. he told Hirata to stay in the classroom while he and the others went after ryuen and koenji. when ryuen examins the group that followed he was paying more attention to who wasn't in that group. he did all this to make himself look like a pawn following hiratas orders. all this time he put himself front when possible and hid hirata making him seem like he was the one pulling the strings all along. also one more scene i remember is when horikita was telling ayanokoji that ryuen was on the masterminds trail and all he says back is "i wonder." because he knew he was making hirata look far more suspicious than himself.
The supposed rooftop scene, Ayanokouji's betrayal to saving Karuizawa and Karuizawa's monologue (Episode 12) This is spoilers for anime watchers and LN readers who already know the story The place that Ryuen took Karuizawa and his gang during the interogation is not place in the anime that should have. It is supposed to be the rooftop as the LN state about the event that should happened between that time. The betrayal is the asshole move that I'm talking about that will affect Kei since he knows that Ryuen is targeting her in the first place. But why did he betray her after after cutting ties with his relationship to her. Simple is to protect himself and to win not matter what happens. This mindset exist before he entered the school and remember the White Room? It is where he got this mindset as he grow older and become who he is. But now in this episode why this he change his mind after that asshole move he did. Well this is because he wanted to keep her close, he wanted to keep this relationship together with Kei. This also the reason why he called on Manabu. The reason for Manabu to be called as a witness after that event is the promise he gave to him which is not only for Horikita to join the council but to stop Nagumo the new SCP at all cost (Episode 7). But why did he do this out of nowhere well this is because this is the only way he knows how to fix back their relationship. In short EP 10 to 12 is Kiyotaka make a friendly relationship in a twisted way. Let's talk about Kei's monologue. This monologue is important because this is to show us that Kei's has finally move past as a parasite as she willingly to let her suffered without latching to anyone other that herself. And the line where she talked about his times with Kiyotaka is also important because it is show here that she was already saved because she was able to truthful for herself. She had fun and she was glad that Kiyotaka save her from being a parasite therefore what happened during the interogation scene didn't matter because she already forgave him in the end. And If you want to get to know more about this story in detailed manner and those who didn't want to read the novels I suggest you guys watch Saadisfy videos from VOL 7 and 7.5 and it's explain what happened in Episode 10 to 12 in Season 2 That's all and I'm excited for the final episode.

I love how this episode is called Two Brothers but it applies to 3 different sets. Eren and Zeke, Falco and Colt, Porco and Marcel. And all the ones who were alive (basically all but Marcel) had the worst days of their lives this episode. Wait til Falco wakes up and finds out like two people gave their lives for him…
I just really enjoy how Attack On Titans doesn’t pull its punches. It is definitely a tragedy for 3 sets of people. I can’t even imagine Falco’s reaction especially since he one of the more selfless and innocent of people. Appreciate the comment!
Porco cut off Pieck’s hand in addition to the chain to help her transform. She could have bitten her hand afterward, sure, but Eren was right there, so they had to hurry. She needed to be injured to transform and Porco was already right there with a perfectly good set of claws, ready to cut the chain. Might as well cut the arm too and get both jobs done with one slash, right? Quick and easy, less work for her. If you think about it, he actually gave her a head start with no effort on his part. All in a day’s work 😂
I like that talk Pieck gave to Gabi about how Marley would exterminate all the Eldians no matter how good they prove themselves to be. It's hard to undo brainwashing that's been happening since childhood, so obviously it wouldn't take Gabi just one day to suddenly change her mind about everything she's been conditioned to believe from birth, but if there's anybody who can really make a difference in the way she sees the bigger picture, it's the very people she's trying to become. Reiner, Zeke, Pieck, Galliard, they already know what life as a Warrior is like and they all hate it. Zeke said nothing and abandoned them out of the blue, which already made an impact on Gabi. Reiner acknowledged the dangers with Falco but otherwise keeps his thoughts to himself. Galliard has been slightly more open about it with the other Warriors but doesn't have the heart to tell the kids. Pieck was the same, but eventually she was completely honest with Gabi when she saw just what Zeke's betrayal did to her in this episode, and I think it's good that someone Gabi looks up to finally opened up to her about the reality of their future. Knowing how much effort Gabi has put into following in their footsteps as someone who practically idolizes them, I think she really needed to hear it from one of them as their words generally have a bigger impact on her.
It’s literally everything you know is a lie. I remember one of the episodes when Gabi was frantically saying “I’m a good Eldian” just to hear, that she’ll be exterminated no matter what. It’s really hard to remember that she’s just a brainwashed kid at the end of the day following her programming. Yeah I feel like all the current warriors, knowing what they know now, they wouldn’t want Falco or Gabi or anyone trying to compete for their position. Zeke did have an heavy impact on her cause she was willing to kill and die just find out why someone who was supposed to be close, betrayed with 0 remorse. Pieck made a great decision finally getting Gabi to use her own head even if it a hard and long process. Thank you for sharing that!!!!
@@MarcusMinor No problem! It just makes me sad how the current Warriors have to keep that sort of thing to themselves too. Reiner can’t say anything to his own family because they’re also brainwashed enough to agree with Marley’s ideology. He had to be really subtle to Falco on the train ride home to Liberio in 4x2 to let him know that he understands Falco’s concern for Gabi’s future while threatening him so the soldiers around them wouldn’t be suspicious. While Pieck smiled to herself, Galliard definitely didn’t enjoy hearing the Eldians’ celebration on the train, he expressed to Pieck how he was tired of the war, didn’t trust the Tyburs, and responded with nothing but guilt and sympathy when he saw the kids celebrating Falco beating Gabi in a race in 4x4, but he still had to put a smile on his face to praise Gabi for her accomplishments and hang out with the four kids at the festival so they could still have some ounce of joy while they were still young. Pieck expressed to the other Warriors that she didn’t like that Marley was sending children to war when they watched the candidates racing each other, but like Galliard, she also had to put on a big sibling act around them to preserve what little innocence they had left in them. I can only imagine how much it must suck to spend years of your life training to be a “hero” for your people and finally get that special title you wanted only to realize that the “Honorary Marleyan” label barely means shit, you still get treated badly after all that you’ve done for your nation, and then you have to watch innocent children compete for your position while not being allowed to warn them to stay away. I really feel for the Warriors in particular in this show because they had shit luck from the moments they were born and have to pay for it with their lives and dignity. I hope we get an OVA someday showcasing more of what they’re like when they get to just lie back and relax. I think they deserve more fun moments like the festival in 4x4.
I definitely felt that. Grisha was his father by blood. But Tom actually did the things Zeke wanted to do with his father as simple as playing catch and not being a tool for his own agenda.
