We are so happy to announce that we are taking over Discover Sewing and opening our second location in Duluth, GA!
Our Duluth location will be closed during all of February for renovations. We'll reopen our brand new store in early March, where you'll be able to find fabrics, sewing classes, and sewing and embroidery machines from Janome, Brother, Viking/Husqvarna, and Pfaff. Additionally, we will also offer machine repair services.

Hi...I enjoyed your video....I have a HV Ruby 90 and I am wondering if there are built in background quilting designs I can utilize? Also, what foot is best for sewing the binding on a quilt? Thank you for your assistance.
Hi Susan! I just looked through the embroidery menu and there are some beautiful background quilting designs on the Designer Epic 3. You can also look through all of the designs in the Embroidery Sampler Booklet pdf that Husqvarna Viking has here: husqvarnaviking.com/SiteMedia/Products/Machines/designer-epic3/Embroidery-Sampler-Epic-3.pdf There are many different feet you can use to bind your quilt but, for the Ruby 90, the best and most efficient is using the Quilt Binder Attachment with your Interchangeable Dual Feed Foot. For the Epic 3, you would use the Quilt Binder Attachment with the Quilt Binder Foot for IDF since the walking foot is integrated on the machine. Great question! You’ll want to use the insert part for all hoops beside the free-arm hoop. The wing extensions are attached when using any hoop longer than 360mm i.e. the 465x260mm hoop and the 460x450mm hoop.
Wish she’d held the colors still so we could see them. Also, I don’t think there are really that many color choices, are there? Holding the combo colors up together would be helpful.
