I’ve tried for two years on a 30k claim to get OHP and they wouldn’t give me, did gutters,siding,drywall damage repair, deck staining in total claim, they refused roof. Was a hail claim in Illinois.
I dropped state farm a year ago for my home and vehicles and switched over to a local place that looks compares the things i need insured with a bunch of insurance companies. I couldn't be happier without them. The bastards agreed to pay off my entire roof as hail damage but then diminished the value to nearly nothing because the roof was old. Now i have insurance that doesn't screw me. Hopefully lol.
In my opinion, Insurance Companies are all about collecting the premiums, the adjusters are all about lowballing the customers if they file a claim. Never take any insurance company's first offer, and if it's a sizable claim get you an attorney, you're going to need one. Last but not least, record every contact
You're welcome to go establish your own sovereign territory and then you won't have to pay taxes to anyone. Then again, paying to take land from another sovereign state might cost more.
Not sure what the point is here. If you buy a property, you know full well you have to pay taxes on it until you sell it. And that’s how I know I own it. Because I can sell it.
@Thewindyriver The point is that the taxes are continuously rising which means you can't plan for the future or stop working, Unless you find a way to pay that ever growing tab.
@thevalhallaventures. Bury a family memeber on the land that way youll never lose it. they cant take if you go bankrupt they cant take it if you stop paying taxes on it. Good examples of this Graceland elvis presley is buried on that land so his daughters will never lose it and the next generations of Presleys will always have graceland. Another example trumps maralogo his ex wife is buried on the land same thing as graceland they can never seize it or take the land in bankruptcy he and his family will always own that land. So technically you can own land in the US just gotta be smart and grandfather the land.😂

My wife is from the Dominican Republic and there, you can buy property and build your home on it, and your initial property will never be taxed. All subsequent properties you own, however, will be taxed, unless you put them in a family members name, and that is totally legal.
@@chrisreyes6990 it’s an unfortunate shame that here in America you truly never own outright the property you purchase. Not everyone wants to be a businessman, to have to figure out a way to pay for your taxes every year. At least in Puerto Rico and the DR your initial property where you live, is not taxed.
