I have those too! I call 'em Nogro's. They're handy because you can make the block a solid color while you're laying them out, so you can be sure you've gotten every place a flower can spawn, then when you've got them down correctly you can turn them transparent. This trick is also useful if you want to make a rock garden but don't want to clutter up your island with all those dang mannequins. Rocks can't spawn on a custom path. So you can keep up the aesthetic of your island and be sure of ease of movement while you're working on moving the rocks around. You just have to be careful that you or a visitor don't accidentally rub one out with a misplaced 'Y' button.

I always plant 10k in the golden spot. then when the money tree's grown, it's tripled, so I make 30k :) you can plant more money apparently but 10k is a safe bet

If you’re on a new island, you might not want to break the rocks. You can use the flimsy shovel on them every day to get ore, clay, and rocks without the rocks breaking.
