Spent a night in adenau in 2014 on a week-long roadtrip with a buddy. Woke up to the sounds of cars going hard in the distance. Also met sabine's mom when staying at Hotel Cafe Am Tiergarten. Great memories.

If you dont have breakfast in your hotel, there ia a few bakeries/coffe shops along the street of Adenau. Can't say I have a favorite,and it doesent look like one of them is more popular than the other either. In my oppinion they all serve what you expect, and it all tasted good. The lagest bakery is located in the REWE shop just as you enter adenau.. ( Not included in my video) Hope this was helpful.

My understanding regarding insurance is that when the Nordschleife is specifically excluded on the policy, EU insurers are still legally obliged to cover all 3rd party costs BUT, if they do pay out, they will then try to recover all of the costs from the policyholder through the courts and the policyholder will effectively be unable to get any motor insurance until the case is settled. Not really a situation anyone want to find themselves in but I suspect at least 50% of the people at TF will not have adequate insurance so apparently its a risk worth taking for most.
