With all due respect, that is not a backing track that deserves to be associated with Martino's name. It is amateurish and the rhythm is downright horrible.
Let me share my real thoughts on your comments. This is a backing track used for educational purposes made on a iPad to get thru chord changes. The drum beat is a metronome and by judging by your videos, u might want to start using one. Though I will make sure to inform the seven different singers or singing groups I play guitar for that are in the rock and roll hall of fame, that my iPad feel is “downright horrible” while I’m at it, have any idea how Pat would approach this tune? How he would see Bmin7b5 E7 Bb7 E7#9 all derived from diminished? Would u know how to apply? Land on a chord tone? How u used G# over the Amin knowing That G# came from E7 resulting in the essential tone of A Harmonic minor? How would u navigate that Gmin7 C7 Fmaj7? Would u even realize with your sloppy bs pentatonic what key your in? I’m sure by your comment you are a master of music, so I’ll just shut up for. Thanks for the comment tho troll
@@JimmyMichael9 you think you have some secret knowledge of harmony dude? That's really ridiculous. It's a basic tune. The guy's right this backing track sounds REALLY mediocre, it's not something someone is going to enjoy playing with because it is SOO sterile and feel-less .. It's got nothing to do with your knowledge of chord changes though !! And if the drums is a metronome I guess that explains why it sounds so bad. Make sense??
Hey Antoine, I have every part of the song in form on track but extended verses/solo section to practice on. Maybe I should edit in GB to match record?
@@JimmyMichael9 i think its better if u match it with live performances on tours of 2019 where he improvises long mid solos where he plays the original solo at the end of that mid solo then extend the outro solo too

I definitely agree, lines are much more fluid when you connect with symmetrical patterns. Wherever you’re at, you have a few different directions to go. Although, I’m really trying to not think “pattern” at all lol
@@JimmyMichael9 If I may offer my opinion on lessons in general, I personally find shorter, and to the point lessons more beneficial to beginning/intermediate students, with so many musicians online offering lessons, some are just too much. I like and it's my opinion only, to be able to grasp small bits, and put them into my playing before moving on. Think about when you began playing how long it took to master the licks in position 1 like you describe here, and I mean master so they sound like you..I teach also, and stress small bits of information and build from that. I hope i did not overstep in any way, just my thought...keep up the great work...
Scott Hayes sorry for quick answer, was driving. First set chords are D, C and E min. D Mixolydian. I rather refer to a major key rather than think a mode. These are the V, IV and vi min chord of G Major. If you play G Major over it you’ll get the D Mixo sound. I believe that goes twice. The next set of chords is F, C and E min D F Lydian, which is just C major scale for First 3 chords then back to G Major on the D. The note F going to F# is the only difference between the two scales. So the note F is money on F chord and the F# is gold landing on D chord
