So far in 6 hrs of runtime Bike has over heated Drove 1.5 hours to get fan i ordered. Wrong fan Drove another 1.5 to get the right fan Bike has caught on fire And drove 2 hours to a race today to learn my in line fuel filter in the tank has cracked and the bike wouldnt run.
did you have any fitment issues with the LeoVince headers? I had to return mine because the outlet of the y-pipe was farther inboard and at a different angle than the OE headers, which made installing the Camel Adv link pipe impossible.
Hope u see this in time to respond, But how rough is this track , bc I plan on racing it tmr for the first time In over a year. I tried gaging it over the video, but I know the camera doesn't always do the track justice
Have you remapped the bike? It will help with starting issue. I have the same thing on my 24racing 480 and its a bit annoying but have to see how it does after 20hrs.. how much hrs on your bike?
Just for ease next time, you can make the subframe stay up by tightening the top sub frame bolts so you don’t have to worry about it dangling or falling. Sweet bike!
I have the 23 model. If you bump the starter and prime it, it’ll start easier when you go to start it. Run it with traction control on and you’ll not flame out as much.
I have a 350 race edition 2022 and I also experienced these minor starting issues and engine choking on takeoff. I had my rpm increased by 100 at my dealer and for the starting issue, I replaced it with a battery with more amperage.
Sweet bike. I rode a beta 390 2024 race and it was the most incredible 4 stroke I’ve been on. So good for woods ripping and locked into ruts and cornered so dang good. Bone stock bike. Blew my mind.
looks like a lot of fun. im not too familiar with the 4 strokes as im a 2 stroke guy but something worth looking into is swapping the stock plastic oil pump gear with a metal one. there is a kit you can buy for it. im not sure if the kits existence is saying anything but it seems like a good reliability upgrade to do.
Glad you like it! I really enjoy riding my 2023 350 RE but I would recommend the Samco radiator hose kit (thermostat bypass) as well as changing the oil ASAP. My Beta had way too much engine oil in it from the dealer. Keep the videos coming, cheers!
I bought 23 350 race a few months ago, rides light, its nimble... but I hate it !!. I'm just not a 4 t guy. The hard starting problem I also had. It can be 2 things, 1 don’t tough the throttle when your trying start it, it will cough and sputter and just won't start. 2. The dealers usually up the idle in the map by 100 RPM, which puts the sync between the TPS and engine idle speed out, so basically, the engine thinks you opened the throttle while your trying to start it, and it wont start. The fix is to get the dealer to reset the TPS to match the increased idle speed, this can only be done on the Beta diagnostic machine only dealer have. This worked a treat for me, it starts no probs now, and the fuel delivery is also improved. I’m going back to a 2 t, enjoy the ride, Beta are a great bike 😊
Looks like fun trails! Interesting to see a couple of stalls in the first minute! And then starting was delayed. The 23 Beta 4-strokes I've ridden at demo events have close to 300 2-stroke like stall resistance. I am sure you will dial your new 350 Race Edition in and the engine will run better as it breaks in. Love the Beta Rideability!
