Am I just not getting it, or is the extension displayed here really anticlimactic? Is it possible to use springs to cause the tubes to telescope the majority of their length?
Fair question. There are some applications that require a small amount of additional extension after assembly. Securing a telescopic tube in a doorway/window frame or adding tension to a fabric graphic after install are two examples of where this could be useful. This type of construction will not make an entire telescopic tube extend the majority of it's length.
Testrite manufactures in the USA. For an international order email RFQ@Testrite.com with all of the information on your request, including quantity, and we'll take a look.
Would such a System be strong enough to be used on a rubber powered speargun? It would make transporting spearguns so much easier. You could just put your speargun in a backpack instead of having to carry this 1 meter long pipe around.
We are not ourselves spear fishermen. We work with many entrepreneurs who find new users for our capabilities and build businesses around those products.
Weight will always depend on the application. We have a variety of spring buttons available, including solid headed spring buttons. Even with a hollow spring button, the spring is quite strong. We do ship internationally with volume, though we require the customer to provide the Fedex/DHL/UPS Label along with pre-paying for the order
You would visit our Request Fast Quotation page at www.testriteoem.com/pages/rfq/, select OEM Parts, and include the details of what you need. If it's something we can quote with sufficient volume, we'll quote it for you.
You would visit our Request Fast Quotation page at www.testriteoem.com/pages/rfq/, select OEM Parts, and include the details of what you need. The size of the tube, if you want to use a spring button or pin, etc. Then a member of our team would be happy to quote for you.
Regardless of using pvc could you explain if when using a B Lock would the black tube fall out from the white tube when fully extended or is the lock preventing if from doing so? I want the black tube to fall down but then stop itself.
Nothing about the B lock stops the inner tube from pulling out. When we manufacture aluminum tubing, we do operations to the tubing to stop the inner tube from pulling out. We make custom aluminum tubing in 25+ and quote requests can be sent in at www.testriteoem.com/pages/rfq/
Hi - I love that you offer this. I am looking to make something a little unique. Would it be possible for you supply one piece in the shape of an "n" where main length of each side would be about 22-24 inches long with one telescopic section at the bottom of both about 10-12 inches using the L Level Locks? In other words I'm asking if you can produce/suppy the "n" shape and legs or would I have to do the bending my end with for example with a standard tubing bender?
The best way to ask about a custom project is to reach out to us via our RFQ page at www.testriteoem.com/pages/rfq/ . Please keep in mind that for custom requests qty minimums may apply
Do you produce legs that go from 15” to 36” with a few adjustable heights in between? Preferably in telescopic form so that the variation is easier than set spring lock notches. I am a business owner.
We produce telescoping legs in a HUGE variety of sizes. What you're asking about would be a custom telescopic tube, for which there would be a 25 pc minimum. If this works for your application, visit www.TestriteOEM.com and click Request Fast Quotation. If you don't need 25 units, you could just buy tubing and locks from TestriteAluminum.com, though the table leg swivel is not currently offered as a standalone part.
Which lock type works on old pool poles.wotn boken cam locks? I have a 2 pole.and a 3 pole style that can use new locking mechanisms. The poles are still good, why dont theu just sell the replacement part at the pool store?
It is possible our spring buttons would work on PVC tubing. You can buy the spring buttons on www.TestriteAluminum.com and try it for yourself. If you need 25 or more and are asking for us to build for you, reach out to us at www.TestriteOEM.com and click request fast quotation and let us know what you have in mind. FYI - The thicker the wall of your tube, whatever material, the harder it becomes to depress a spring button. We have made custom versions of our B locks for PVC tubing, which you can see here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Px2PyGcSE0.html
You are correct. Our main market is businesses looking to source parts for their products in qty 25+. We're a small business and listen to all input, so the more interest we hear, the more we'll consider making a standard version more broadly available.
@@ForrestColeman Thanks for letting us know. We are always listening to customer feedback and will consider creating a "standard version" in the future. As of today, these are custom available in qty 25+
how much static weight can the lock withstand before sliding, or giving out? Let's say for the 1" largest clamp to 7/8", with no additional spring hole snap support... Also, where do you source 7/8" aluminum tubing?
We do not have a catalog of table legs. What we tried to do in the video is show examples of types of legs we can make. These would all be made to order in qty 25+. Sizing, finish, and functionality would be based on what you need, and we can do more than what we were able to show in one short video. If your project will need 25 or more, please head over to www.TestriteOEM.com, and click Request FAST Quotation
We don't have a catalog of parts. We use these videos as well as www.TestriteOEM.com to show the types of items we can make. Our folding table legs are all custom, made in qty 25+. If you need 25 or more, visit us at www.TestriteOEM.com and click Request Fast Quotation. Let us know what you're looking for, and ideally including a pencil sketch, drawing, or photo of what you're trying to accomplish
Can you lock it before it fully extends or are those 2 settings the only options? Also, does the unadjustable part of the tubing have to be that length or can it be much shorter?
The B Lock can be used to lock the tube at any point you'd like. The length of each tube can be customized. Keep in mind you'll need to make sure there's room for whatever gas spring you ask us to include. Minimum qty on these is 25, price is lower in higher quantity, and we ask you to let us know what gas spring you want us to build in.
We can do small runs with steel telescopic tubing including for a prototype for a potential larger run. The more complicated what you need, the more likely there is to be a minimum. Pricing in low quantity is also more expensive, lower in higher quantity
@@TestriteOEM my prototype is (4) 3.5ft length 1” square tubing with a single through hole at each end and (4) telescoped tubes inside with through holes perforated every couple inches. Initial run to prove I can sell my product would only be like 10 units. That’s why I’m looking off the shelf.
These are fabricated pieces. Pricing is lower in quantity. Shipping is just an estimate. You can request that we ship via USPS which within the lower 48 states is typically less expensive for such small parts.
TestriteOEM.com offers thin wall aluminum tubing up to 1-1/2" diameter. We do not sell tubing larger than 1-1/2" diameter. Good luck with your project!
If you need 25 or more, head to www.TestriteOEM.com , click Request FAST Quote, and let us know the size tube you're looking for as well as any additional details you can share. Make sure to mention that you want the A Clutch lock with brass spacer ring so that we can quote appropriately.
We offer complete telescopic tubing assemblies with round aluminum tubing. When we sell the tubing locks a la carte (just the lock), customers use whatever tubing they'd like. There are customers who have used our B Locks with fiberglass tubing in the past. We always recommend testing the locking mechanism with your poles in the environment where it will be used to make sure it's safe for your application
