A couple of weeks after the world shut down, my best friend sent me a shipment of 9 pints of gourmet ice cream for my 30th birthday. Ever since, I’ve been reviewing every flavor in the Jeni’s catalogue I can get my hands on.

Thanks for the feedback - I film it vertically for TikTok and Instagram which generally get more views and this is the only way I know how to convert the format to RU-vid without having to shoot the video twice. Open to suggestion if you know a better way!
@@IceCreamScoops I got a cone with Texas Sheet Cake on the bottom, Purple Star Born on top. A surprisingly tasty combination, and I thought it would a nice theme to go from the stars above to the Earth below.
Have you tried the other two new flavors like the Banana French Toast and the Fluffernutter Pie ? I liked the Banana French Toast better than the Fluffernutter Pie but with that being said I like the Fluffernutter Pie too
I’ve had Fluffernutter Pie but it’s been a minute! I should have a review for it on my channel. I would love to try banana French toast but I’m allergic to banana :(
You’re so right! This was my first review and I did it on a whim so I didn’t have the grading system in place yet. It’s been a while since I’ve had it, I’ll have to pick up another pint and revert back with a rating!
A friend got it for me! The gold coating is supposed to have a neutral taste so there’s nothing interfering with the taste of the flavor of the ice cream
100%! I’m finding that sometimes the initial taste test isn’t the best indicator of the flavor. The are a LOT of crispies packed in the pint! A true frenzy.
Ordered this amongst others, will be here this week, most excited for this one. I love sweet potato desserts, but sounds like this might might not be as heavy as I’d like
Let me know what you think! My mom thought the sweet potato taste was really present so maybe I just haven’t eaten enough sweet potato desserts in my life (guilty!). What else did you get? I just got most of the holiday flavors and will be reviewing soon.
@@IceCreamScoops sorry I’m responding late lol, but I thought it was great. Could’ve used a bit more sweet potato but still one of my favorite ice creams ever. I also got the pineapple upside down cake, banana brulee, and genmaicha. All were great, the genmaicha a pleasant surprise if you like green tea
@@billmcjargenfoot9959 I love Pineapple Upside Down Cake such a great flavor. I am not a green tea fan so I didn’t try that one. And there are flavors she makes with banana bases that I am dying to try but I think I’m allergic to banana so I’m generally not willing to risk it… although I’m considering breaking that rule for Banana Bread French Toast
Luckily I live near a scoop shop and I dragged my boyfriend to try it with me. The second I had a sample I melted..amazing base! I agree with you that I wish it had more chocolate. I countered that at the store with milkest chocolate with it but at home I just have some chocolate syrup. I also had to scramble to buy 2 more pints because only 1 of the 4 jenis in my area even had anymore. I horded 2 for future scientific research 😅 This flavor absolutely needs to be a regular they sell.

Ok PLEASE tell me about Atlantic Beach Pie! I hear so much buzz around it but have never had it and don’t know what it is! My favorite standard flavors are Almond Butter Brittle and Savannah Buttermint… favorite seasonal are White Chocolate Peppermint and Bombastix Sundae Cone… and I totally love the special one offs like Ted Lasso and Maple Soaked Pancakes! I can’t pick one 🙈
Enjoyed the review, loved the ice cream, and loved the cat lol I lucked out with the carton I had for my review and it had all the crumble and caramel/brown sugar swirl at the top. Also, unfrosted Poptarts get a bad rep, but those are the ones I would put butter on (in place of icing)!
Oh man I want to so badly! But bananas give me horrible stomach cramps. The only way I can eat them is in cooked things like banana bread, but ice creams have been hit or miss.
I absolutely love this Jeni’s flavor! I was so sorry when Jeni’s stopped making their lemon buttermilk flavor, but this IS that flavor, but with blueberries.
I really liked this flavor. All the flavors came together quite well. I would even go so far as to say this is in my Too Three favorite Jeni's flavors!
Great video. However, this flavor was other than my favorite. Seemingly the taste needed help deciding what it wanted to be. Was it a tart, almost sorbet-like ice cream or a pastry-inspired cranberry flavor? Who knows. It left a lot to be desired. Funny enough, you should try mixing blueberry parfait and pistachio macaroon if you're into combinations; I was eating these two flavors together when I looked up your reviews. Perfect together.
