Most consumers have a tv that can take advantage of a PS5 Pro because they are touting 4k60 even though when the PS5 first came out it's main selling point was 4k120.
@@SaskatchewansAbs I think we’d absolutely agree on that. But I think the overall sentiment is that the finished product is not as good as it was prior, but just like you mentioned you have VFX studios working around the clock to try and meet deadlines in movies that are so reliant on it these days.
Technology is better. But they expect this amazing scene. And then want it cgi. And then want to change it last minute. AND THEN the vfx guy is burnt out and just says fuck that guy I worked really hard to make that scene perfect now you want this. .
@@Flamingwarthog117 we can def see the argument for any of them tbh. 4 is what G chose simply just for the culmination of all of the games up to that point. Respect to anyone who chooses different though. An amazing game series.

@@UncertainEarth it was supposed to be kind of the centerpiece of PlayStations State of Play this year but it’s kind of a controversial topic in the sense that it seems like people either hate it or like it a lot.

We'd recommend giving it a try if they decide to do another Beta. It was a lot more fun than expected, not to be said that it's a perfect game. There's absolutely some balancing that needs to occur.
Gamepass has been operating at a loss since it's inception. Because games cost so much to develop, you brought up two great examples, but Xbox also has some pretty huge costs but different from other consoles, they're backed by the second largest company in the world. Gamepass has to continue to grow it's base at a pretty insane level to be considered successful. We get the idea is get players in their ecosystem. We're not here to say that Xbox or Playstation is better but for any other company, the model they're operating at wouldn't make sense.

I haven’t warmed up to the new Zack voice doesn’t compare to Rick Gomez. It’s not Calebs fault it’s the people who brought in the new voice actors and threw merit out the window. And if you disagree with me remember these actors are protected by bots and journalists who are on a certain side to protect and promote these new voice actors and destroy the old voice actors. Bring back the legacy cast as a DLC option
So we're not a bot/journalist in this case and we absolutely adore the new cast. You can prefer one voice actor to another, we think everyone absolutely has a preference. One of our co-hosts never played the original crisis core until recently and prefers Caleb to Rick. We've never had a chance to talk to Rick (maybe it will happen further down the line), but Caleb has been incredibly kind and gave Rick his kudos. Your suggestion for the legacy cast is interesting but also, some of these actors may not even want to come back if they're not going to the primary VA for a role (we're not assuming, but it's absolutely a possibility).
Dang I condem you guys for having opinions against the grain haha, Concord is deff a Overwatch/Destiny 2 copycat, Monster Hunter slaps. Resident Evil is their most top selling franchise. Monster Hunter is 2nd, street fighter 3rd. Good podcast tho 😉 Guys should diversify the portfolio on the games you play, try some street fighter 6/Tekken 8 we're eating good rn.

Who cares if he was a real person it’s in Japan get a Japanese person. This is pandering if you want someone black go to Africa whole continent full of us. You have a whole rich culture in Japan but choose an outlier for the nation that is some messed up mess.
No, the Japanese have not always acknowledged him as a samurai. Nope. In fact, the Japanese kept very meticulous records about Samurai during the time period. Yasuke is on none of the lists. There's no record of him ever achieving the status. None. And if there's no record, he didn't achieve it. The only records that exist about Yasuke, and there aren't many (because he WAS NOT one of the most famous people of the time period), indicate that Nobunaga procured him from some Jesuits. He gave Yasuke his name (nobody even knows what Yasuke's real name was. He was THAT important and famous *sarcasm*), made him a weapon-bearer and retainer, and yep. That's about it. Yasuke was only one of Nobunaga's many retainers (again, retainers aren't samurai) for about 15 months before Nobunaga died, at which point Yasuke surrended to the authorities (instead of committing honorable seppuku for failing his lord) and was given back to the Jesuits as their slave. 15 months. He didn't have time to become fluent in Japanese, didn't have time to learn the Bushido code or train in the Samurai arts (which took years to master), and was at best a historical footnote in the Nobunaga drama. At least... he would be a mere historical footnote, if not for his hue. That's why Ubisoft picked him. That's why the West focuses so hard on him. Because of his hue, not any actual accomplishments. That's it. People are annoyed because Ubisoft decided to take a real life person, fan-fiction the heck out of him, and then pretend that said fan-fiction is historical fact. To the point of purposefully editing Wikipedia articles to promote their falshehoods. All for ESG points and to provide a shield from legitimate criticism about their terrible pricing schemes, egregious micro-transactions, and overall lack of quality. It's tacky, tokenizing, and sleazy. Also hasn't helped that Ubisoft said that they wanted players to be able to see Japan with "non-Asian eyes." Why? You let us see Italy through an Italian's eyes. You let us see Ptolmaic Egypt through an Egyptians eyes. Is it because, as some of your staff have indicated on Twitter, Japanese people are "white-adjacent" and not diverse enough? Eh. Anyway... good luck with your channel. I don't think you did your research on this issue very well, but whatever. Algorithm favored you.
The real controversy is simply why in the first game set in Japan, out of all characters to have why him 🤔 nothing wrong if he is & used properly but it’s just funny especially since no protagonist has ever been a historically person. Me simply saying that gets me called a racist THATS the bs part.
Also, I know it's satire and all. But the part when he puts on the helmet and says: "Join... The Helldivers" and then the music kicks in; gives me chills every time and I never get tired of watching it.

I haven't tried this game. Unfortunately, Steam doesn't accept payments in my country due to the sanctions that the United States decided to punish ordinary Russian people with. That's why many become pirates) But after random videos about this game, I became so fascinated by it that I would still like to find a way to buy it officially. Of course, Samantha will not know about this comment, but if she read it, she would probably be pleased. I watched a few random videos on RU-vid and I liked Karlach and her voice acting so much that it was because I wanted to buy the game. I hope that this will also help improve my level of English, because there is no full-fledged Russian-language voice acting. I'll be honest, I initially didn't like his performance as Zack. But he's changed my mind in Rebirth. He did really good. Rick was great but I'm glad Caleb's doing his own thing.
Super cool listen! Star Wars Republic Commando is still my favorite game of all time and Scorch (voiced by Raphael) was my favorite Delta Squad teammate…so nostalgic to even here his voice 🙏🙏🙏
We'd very much disagree. We think Rick and Caleb brought different versions but obviously Square thought he was the right man for the job for the Remake trilogy.
Though I was sad to see Rick go. I've really warmed up to Caleb's role as Zack. Especially after Intergrade and Crisis Core Reunion. I think he's a wonderful Voice Actor. And I can't wait to hear his performance in Rebirth
