I love the contrast between the voices. The normal voice is wobbly and ugly, greatly imperfect. The mirror’s voice is graceful, elegant and doesn’t trip up. But ultimately it is the same person singing. The first voice desperately asks the mirror how to get better. The mirror itself being a perfect version of herself, it represents everything she wants to become but it is very unrealistic. The perfect mirror is disgusted by its lesser, but real version. So often it is cruel and puts her down. In the end, the mirror is only a reflection of herself and cannot provide actual advice.
I love this! From one writer to another; you have a way with words! <3 Mirrors can project what our mind is thinking. It can boost you up or tear you down. If you talk to the mirror, you can see yourself speak. It’s certainly not up to the mirror what words it hears, but it listens anyways. It shows us what we are; imperfect, fallible, lovable, human. The mirror can shatter and change just like our perceptions of ourselves.
how do i become better like my classmate... i tried nearly for 3 to 4 years and im still not good tutorials can help me but after some time it just becomes worser idk what to do rn :d
It can get really discouraging when you compare yourself to others; my best tip is to try and not do that, because that’s what made me love my own art. You are your own person, and we all learn differently from each other. Learning and progress take time! It sucks, but we just gotta keep going at it. Practice as often as you can, even if it’s just a quick doodle every couple days! If learning new things is too much, do what you know and you’ll find you get faster at doing it. You’ve got this! 💙
