📖 The Cyber Coffee Hour comprises Dr. Joseph J. Burt-Miller Jr. and Alfredzo B. Nash Jr. They are two cyber experts from Mount Vernon, NY, who love a good cup of coffee and conversation. They have surveyed the cyber podcast landscape and wanted to see a change. For shows featuring heavily on the CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs of the world, the perspective of those getting started in their journey must be emphasized.
The mission of the Cyber Coffee Hour intentionally features guests of all stages of the cyber journey. Still, it prioritizes the voices undergoing gatekeeping, racism, biases, and other struggles while trying to make their way into the cybersecurity practicum. The Cyber Coffee Hour uniquely spreads the cybersecurity gospel by featuring guests with and without a cybersecurity background, with cybersecurity as the common denominator.
I love the vibe of this Podcast. I felt that everyone was respectful to each person's time and point of view. Meaning, no one was talking over each other. The information came across very clear and concise. Thx You all. Great Job
Absolutely agree with you @cyberja, adding investment and incentive aligned to identifying the gaps in GRC. This eventually builds the connections needed to access the bridge to other areas within the Cybersecurity organization as a whole
Happy belated! We didn't know it was your birthday. Maybe a few more vehicle data APIs should have been offered up as tribune for celebration of Martian Day!
Wow,this demo is mind-blowing!Your expertise in cybersecurity at such a young age is truly impressive.I am in awe of your skills and dedication to the field.Would love to see more demos like this one.keep up the fantastic work!
I believe protecting yourself and family members is incredibly important. Toni sets the example for adapting and overcoming but also showing perseverance within her career. I loved the perspective of this video. You can learn a lot by just listening. Great video!!
Thank you for this comment. Toni has an immense knowledge and schooled us to potential cybersecurity gaps within her industry. Active defense is vital to the protection of you and your loved ones..
I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all points of view and how cybersecurity interconnects with social work. I feel that this is not advocated for enough and it needs to be talked about more. When personal information is accessible virtually, there needs to be more advocation for safety. For someone who does not understand much about data breaches and cybersecurity accessibility, this video was very informative. Loved it!
We had no clue of the overlap until having Toni on this episode. We surmised there were enough protections in place, however they vary per facility and care provider network. Which is very concerning as Cyber professionals. Additionally, Cybersecurity has compliance and governance standards for Toni's industry. We agree there isn't enough advocacy for digital protection at all levels of patients or social worker services provided. We plan to keep brewing these espresso shots on this matter
This was a great video! I enjoyed hearing from all of you about cybersecurity in a social work setting. There are a lot of aspects to safety in a virtual setting when you have access to sensitive information that many people don't consider. I personally wouldn't even think twice if someone was out mowing the lawn while I was on a call, but now that you have mentioned it, I understand how serious even something mundane like that can be in terms of data security.
There is a whole realm of coffee to be had around protection of virtual settings and vital information that just doesn't make it across the cybersecurity industry or individuals like Toni whom protect others. Glad to hear we informed the masses.
If you are strictly technical and not management you really don’t need a college degree. Most colleges and universities are teaching you 5 to 10 years of outdated curriculum that isn’t relevant by the time students graduate. Colleges and universities are useful for creating professional networks, but LinkedIn solves that problem too.
@upshawsm. There is a game being played for sure. If you look closely, most organizations dont have a track for technical to management (Mid to Senior). Why is that? Additionally, Coffee Makers are still encouraged to go to school/universities. However, seek out employers that offer tuition reimbursement or hire based on education easements. Please keep the comments and subs going while we brew and continue to build the Cyber Coffee Hour Podcast
Well, this is a the proper Root Cause Analysis to Societal Panic being documented and escalated accordingly. If we the Cyber Coffee Hour were to separate into two mobile orders or tickets, well the panic line will pile up. As a reaction, unhappy Baristas and Coffee Makers
