Hey everyone! Toph here and welcome to my channel! I am creating content for the anime plastic model kit community. Not just gundam but all anime plastic models kits that I think are cool. Also, to introduce more people to the hobby while bettering my skills. Check back weekly for new videos of model kit speed builds and unboxings, model kit reviews, and more in the future as I continue to grow!
This is my first ever model kit and most likely my last as I was just a fan of the show. There is a little indicator on the manual to glue some parts so I went online to try and find some advice. Going from previous comments, did you get by fine without the glue? It would just add the benefit of everything staying in place correct?
Sorry to hear! If the piece is loose use any super glue on the joint and let it dry completely before to put it back on the body. If the piece snapped in two use "tamiya thin cement" this melts and fuses the plastic back together. Hope that helps!
This build was all tamiya paints I also use Vallejo but I'm finding tamiya easier to work with especially with just rubbing alcohol to thin. Hope you enjoy your build!
@@light-sg1413no problem, the original color was a custom mix of tamiya red, and a small amount of purple. (Don't have an exact mix just looked right on the color) the color also darkens if you use the weathering compound which the one I used tamiya weathering brown.
Hi just working on the kit yesterday and it going well so far but i just need to paint the canopy and like to know what paint you use to paint the cockpit canopy as i am not sure what paint it is i thinking it some type of orange yellow clear colour.
Bruh Yes! Mine wasn't terrible overall but I never did a review because I had a lot of issues with the hair! Definitely glue if painting isn't in the plans. You'll loose the ability to pose the hair but it doesn't do any good if it's on the floor every 5 seconds.
Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed the video! You can get the bandai red fin which I have and plan to make a video soon and there is a 3rd party resin kit of the hammerhead but that one was discontinued but that is way pricey for me right now.
Late or not, thanks for checking out the channel! The figure uses a lot of parts from the DBZ ver. Broly. Picked this one up after the DBSuper movie because I really enjoyed it. Thanks again!
@@arthurbrown2075 Sure do, the most recent video is a model of the Swordfish II from Cowboy Bebop. Currently working on a custom SSJ4 Vegeta and Goku which will be out as soon as I am done.
I 3d modeled the shoulder launcher and bazooka ammo drum the sniper rifle can be found here : 1/100 Gundam Zaku Anti Ship Rifle: cults3d.com/en/3d-model/art/1-100-gundam-zaku-anti-ship-rifle
Hi I have an important question that I'm not sure if anyone can answer after such a long time. Is the inner frame of the 2.0 the same as the 1.0? I want to buy the Yujiao land resin kit which supposedly use the 2.0 but I have a 1.0 version so wondering if it's compatible. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hey there, that is a good question. I looked up a video of the kit and if it it the same one from the video below the YJL kit would not work. The 1.0 has a shell and poly cap system similar to high grades. The 2.0 has a full inner frame that the convertion kit was casted from and uses connection points. Hope this helps! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m6ylCPfZy9w.html
The quality of the plastic isnt a problem. I do remember shooting the video was an issue because of the proportions throwing off the balance especially with the tiny feet. The hair didn't connect to the back of the head and always fell off but glue them in place will solve the problem. I would probably only recommend this kit if you want to paint it red for the Stelitzia red form, or want to build something different from usual model kits. Otherwise the robot spirits figure will save so much hassle.
@@thatnerdtoph9741 Thanks you for fast response. I think I'm gonna risk it and buy this kit, it do have quite unique shelf presence which i really like. Most of kits I've build lately was a RG and MG gundams so building something different would be a nice touch.

Hello! I got it from plazajapan. com I'm not sure if they ship to India but maybe you can find one by searching "Good Smile company Strelitzia" good luck and thank you watching!
Hello there I have this model kit love it but what are the clear pices for on plate A and the Hair pieces on Plate A as well and the 2 extra faces after you build Gokus and Vegeta and the extra chest
I bought it from plaza japan when it first came out. I looked at the prices they go for now and it is not worth that kind of money because it falls apart super easy.
