Just got a 2011 335i 105k miles.. Its nice and seems like it was maintained well. Just need to change front rotors and brakes, what other preventative maintenance should i do? Ima do the oil change very soon. Its a white convertible with the red interior, M edition, pretty nice but thought that only came with the IS.
M sport is m sport ig. They finally caved in and said they admit the things a beast and could put down the v8 m3 because they were d tuned from factory. I bought my 2011 335is a year ago it blew up on the way home from the dealer had worn rod bearings that came out of no where now that I know what a good n54 sounds like it had a subtle tick that grew as I drove home then pop. It seized the engine. Should have just stopped because I was in disbelief. Knowing the owners of these cars makes it and us all a bunch pos. I got a 80k mile engine brand new factory turbos and resealed and had it rod bearing check and replaced and proper oil pan install. So I’m happy now. It has coolent I just fixed 7:50 . Rear oil drain was replaced well after my new engine was installed by me. I put a large oil cooler on. I don’t suggest it keep the factory one. Don’t mod your car. I did and regret it still. If you do better know what you are doing because it does respond well but everything else on the car is impossible to coexist. I’ve done new rotors in the front and pads all around. The is has big rotors that warp very easily. The car has had a new hpfp it’s been driven only 5k miles since replacement. I had injectors replaced that were bad. Carbon cleaned when I had it on the engine stand repealing engine. New transmisison dct was replaced by prior owner for a whopping 11 thousand friggin dollars.
@@PartiBuoy wow man that sounds like a trip! Glad you got it all taken care of tho. I literally just did my oil change today, so far haven’t seen any leaks, tomorrow I’m doing my front brakes and rotors. Haven’t really had any issues besides sometimes 2-3rd gear seem a bit jerky but apparently that’s common with these cars at low speeds. Also the ABS seems to trigger sometimes when I’m turning and braking, it’ll like stop go stop go, a bit annoying
Clean 335is! Reminds me of my lemans blue 335is when I first got it years ago. I also installed M4 seats on mine (all leather tho and you can use bimmergeeks to code out the airbag/seatbelt) and went single turbo port injection route. How are the BC coilovers? My KWs seem to be at the end of their life and want to replace them. Also what brake rotors are you running? Want something a bit more aggressive looking to finish the look of mine.
Awesome!! You mean Pro Tool? They are great cars I love mine. BC coilovers are great in my opinion you know im very low and the car still rides fine. Adjust the dampening to the softest setting like 4 clicks in and you should be good. Brakes rotors are Stop tech bro. But there are sole ECS tuning rotors that look way better.
@@bmw-blast733 Yes pro tool and good to know. Waiting on FCP euro to get those M3 control arm kits back in stock so I can warranty mine and refresh the suspension while swapping the coilovers lol. Def will be checking out those rotors and brakes.
should I get this or a 2011+ 335i with n55 since this car has n54. Is this n54 the same as the pre lci e92 335i coupe. Which is more reliable in bow terms lol? I want this as a daily. Great video brother!
Thanks 🙏🏻 well I had both and I can say that the N54 feel more robust and that is because it is in fact. N55 is a softer but reliable engine. I say either or. Stock they are both great engines. Do your maintenance thats all. 3k oil changes with liqui moly and you should be good to go. Of course take care of you leaks if you get any. And the belt system always take a look both engines have the same design if the belt slips from the tensioner it will get suck into the crank because of the harmonic balancer design.
Yes man you can. Do regular 3k mile oil changes. If you drive conservative they give good gas mileage. Very reliable in my opinion. Just always keep and eye on belt and pulleys. Oil filter housing leak and oil cooler that can affect the belt. Watch out for those.
i cant find the bulbs, the color is what i search for but. on amazon it is not more... i found something but i`m not sure is the same color.. can you recomand me something to make the same yellow/greenish ligiht like m3 csl?

Guys. I have been searching for a good information on that. Seems like If the car 1991+ 95’ E36 HUBs will fit 👍 IF not, SRK-E30H by NRG. Does anyone figured it out?
Wow nice video, I have the same problem with my e34, my right rear window won't come down, it only sounds " tick" when I push the button, could it be the regulator, the motor or just the white plastic clips?
well you have to get the clips out of the regulator if your regulator is bad or you can just grab the glass from the bottom and just pull it down. The only thing holding the window in place is the regulator to be honest.
