I had the realization earlier that this fine piece of perfection has been a staple of my work background music for quite a while... Quite some years actually. I thought I had to at least mention how much I appreciate your music, seeing as I didn't even comment once all this time. This is the cleanest remix of Lower Brinstar I've heard, period. The ambiance, the constancy, the spectral feel that this song oozes... The best. When I visit Red Tower, I hear this. When I think of Red Tower, I visualize this.
Takes me to a place where i feel, disconnected from the world, surrounded by nothing but stars and darkness, with the only thing keeping me company, is the light from said stars, and my thoughts.
damn dude haven't listened to this in years and randomly had it pop up on my youtube recommendations remember playing guild wars 2 and this was in my playlist how time goes by
I love the way your making these OST, they sound very calm and relaxing. Can you do the same for one of the most beautiful game in SNES : DKC 2, especially for these 2 OST : Stickbrush Symphony and Ice theme ?
Algorithm worked on me years too late it seems. I love this. The echoing melody and warm pads give a calming feel to the whole piece, but then the bass hit comes in and you feel what i'd describe as the depth of the area, so while calming in nature it's still a dangerous place to explore. It fits the mood perfectly. I hope to hear more from this channel.
You seem to be the only other cover that also feels like the beginning is a piano. Sounds pretty good, even for being 9 years old. I look forward to listening to your newer stuff
This remix has that "main menu" vibe as opposed to a battle theme. Close your eyes and picture it as a menu song in a pokemon spinoff game, or even the main game.
I played this game as a kid and this was always my favorite track. I endlessly play this song and go to bed. For years, many people have attempted to remix it and always fell short, even Nintendo's own remixes never measured up. Congratulations man, this is a fucking AMAZING remix.
It's still sounds nice but I think you missed the mark on this remix. You made it softer and devoid of all the danger the original conveyed. Instead of feeling like I'm in lower Brinstar this feel like I'm in outer space on a space pirate brigade. As I said I still thinks it's an awesome composition by itself but as a remix it doesn't live up to the original nor the remix on Metroid Prime. Still thumbs tho
I have absolutely loved the music from Metroid & Super Metroid from day one (I even recorded the music from the Nintendo by connecting a tape recorder back in the day) 🤩😂 And now many years later I decided to put some drums on this track (and i will probably do more cuts from Metroid ... and Zelda). What do you think? 😅😎 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gXtNjNPQP1A.html
