Hey nice video.. In all my 300 games I had no mirror match as shadow priest + mage. I am currently the highest shadow priest world in 2s with that comp 2200.. Sadly it's not that strong compared to feral disci or dk ret or stuff like that xD but it's a lot of fun
You are absolutely right. This comp is good only for lower rating tier. and it struggles greatly vs good comps you mentioned, also rogue/hunt / sham/lock - absolute pain in the a*s :) Congratulations on getting such high rating with it!! Really impressive!
Dude, i was dueling a rogue yesterday as a frost mage and he was kicking my ass! The opener is the hardest part. But watching your videos is helping me alot! Thank you. BTW what addon is that which is showing ROGUES cooldowns on his nameplate? Is that plater? Or nameplate auras. SUBSCRIBED
gla you find it useful :) The addon I was using on private servers was "vialcooldowns" but now on cata retail its not available, but there's alsmot exact same addon i'm using atm - nameplatecooldowns - you can find it on curseforge website/app - remember to install cata version if u play cata :)
I'm not sure what u mean "skills of enemy" but you can check out very good (but unfortunately very complicated too) addon " plater nameplates, u can watch siome tutorials online. Or you can check nameplate auras, not sure what u need exaclty - go on CURSEFORGE, install it, and its a great tool for addon management.

idk... there are teams versus which we almost can't do anything, like for example hunt/rog, hunt/feral, sham/lock - these games here versus such teams in the vid are just the lucky ones for us , usually we lose versus such :)
your job as a mage is to peel for your priest, you should be spamming rank one frostbolts to control the game. The pally dk team for instance you should stop them from getting to your priest, you play more agressive than the priest because you have the kit to kite and escape.
Yes, i know that. Apart from "rank 1 frost bolts" ,which don't exist in Cataclysm, you are right. I'm trying to do just that, but the opponents someimtes predict correctly my moves and try to avoid it (like for example jumping off the brindge before i pet freezed them. It doesnt always play out like we want it to.

Unfortunatly Frost Mage and Shadow priest combo isn't S tier in Cata. It's not only my observetaion but I've heard from much better mages than me , that this combo is actually not too good :(. There are many counter set ups for us that i feels we can't do alsmot nothing versus (if they know how to play). I heard that fros mage sub rogue IS a better set up with greater potential. The best set ups are probably hunt/rog, hunt/feral, sham/lock, disc/feral, ret/unholydk. When it comes to a mage I noticed that a fire mage with a healer also manages much better than a frost :(/ But i like playing it so i still do it for fun :)
I saw some ppl play that and if they r good it s quite viable! But of course there are combos against every set up that you almost cant' do shit versus :/

Whitemane is a good cata server if you're looking for.i realy searchee for the nameplate that you are using but didn't find.not plate buffs.the other one that shows enemy CDs
@@shaighan1 propably the best 4.3.4 server rn. Idk about 2k+ online 24/7, check it out. And yeah 2v2 pops almost instantly, bgs at 85 are instant. And you can lvl upl by playing bgs. There is skip from lvl 60-80.

@@Tommy-and-Ray idk... these clips are from motnhs back :D. I last played there a couple of weeks ago, in the evenings bgs are popping, but arenas.... rather extremely rare :(. We hav to wait for cataclysm on retail ;)
