Hey everyone! My name is Lexie and I love talking about books and tea. I know what you are thinking: Not another girl on BookTube talking about YA books. Well, I am here to tell you that I am a little bit different than the other guys. I usually read adult fiction with some YA thrown in on the side. I think it is important to introduce and talk about more diverse books on BookTube. That is the goal of this channel - To provide a voice to books the books that aren't really talked about in our community. I post videos every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so don't forget to click the 'Bell" button so you will get notified every time I post a new video. I am into a bunch of other things so expect a neat and exciting video every now and again. So let's get cozy with a nice cup of tea and snuggle down to read a good book.
I love ALL of Kate Morton’s books but this one has taken me four goes before “making” myself to stay with it. Start of the book is incredibly slow. I’m still at the beginning but I’m finally starting to see its potential. Thank you for the review.
Love this setup! Congrats on the new house (I used to watch your videos when I was doing my undergrad/MA and it looks like things are going really well). Have you thought about hosting a book club? Would love to join!
Hi Lexie, I went to Barnes and Noble to buy Code Name Helene. You had mentioned it a couple of videos ago, your to be read books. Thank you. I’m enjoying it. Have a beautiful day. 📚🎊Jeanette🎊📚
Just SO, SO beautiful. I love everything about it, the sunlight coming in, the color scheme, the KITCHEN, the yard!!!!! We have deer families in our back yard too, drives my dog nuts! Congratulations!
Hang in there! Almost done 😊 It’s great that you’re still exercising and taking care of yourself in other ways despite the less-than-favorable circumstances, and your productivity is impressive. Have a great week!
I began watching your channel in 2018 while struggling with my own thesis. Your academic journey resonated with mine so has been a great inspiration! Thank you so much & heartfelt congratulations on your achievement!🎉🎉 I am looking forward to seeing your further success in academia and career!
Excellent book to read. Note there are a couple of misprints. Page 281, 14 lines down. "Nurse Hudson" should read "Nurse Wallis' Page 287, 2 lines down "she" should read "he". Check it out, if you disagree please comment. Great book, Third time reading it again now!
I read this for my local book club without any expectations. I liked the details of the historical setting, like the comparison of an out-house and a luxurious indoor bathroom. I wasn't as immersed in the characters. And I agree about the ending.
This was interesting, especially since I’ve just moved to Montreal and I’m still getting used to the prices of everything here! I came from New York City most recently though, so most things feel pretty inexpensive to me 😅 Hope you’re enjoying your time here!!
I just finished THE GREAT ALONE and it was the most powerful book I've ever read about domestic abuse. The Nightingale was good too, but nothing like The Great Alone!
