Being an off road P38 owner, can I ask what size tyres the blue beastie is wearing? I love my truck but the bane of my life is diff drag... I know big increases mean extensive modification but I'm sorely tempted to go down the 37s route. Thanks
I would like to know where that guy got those Springs. I have a 97 P38 and I want to lift it I cannot find one single person that makes a set of Springs. It shouldn't be that difficult
!WARNING! This RR has diff locks wich "normal" RR 4.6 V8 HSE doesnt have! Also, its very modified. DIFF LOCKS MAKE IT RIDE LIKE THIS. Dislike reason: you added diff locks & your RR is heavily modified
Hi, This is the Old Warminster Road (Chitterne 15). Because of 4WD vehicles driving in circles to play in this pond the road became impassable and traffic started using the headland of the adjoining field. That headland had not been ploughed in order to provide nesting opportunities for ground nesting birds and winter seeds for food. It had to be ploughed to remove the ruts ... The Rights of Way Section has repaired this section of byway and squared the trench to make it more difficult to play in. Land Rover have always made capable vehicles, but YOU had better be capable of keeping them going, or be able to pay someone who knows how, you can make em reliable with enough time and money. Or buy the Japanese copies of the Rangie, aka Landcruiser or Patrol-they come with all the fixes.
recently bought a 02 P38 HSE, long story short i never check the suspension seems like it's been converted to coil springs, ok so I've seen threads saying coil coversion aren't bad at all but i wouldn't mind spending cash to go stock EAS seems like prices have gone down on parts but also would like to put some shocks in the front any advice about the coil spring vs eas and about those shocks i want to put in the front also have nitto terra grapplers stock size 2555518 on but would like go big
Says it all really, doesn't it? A Classic Vehicle which many said was a load of rubbish when it first came onto the market, hauling a thirty five or so ton artic uphill on an icy road.........
You're correct. Of course the M3 was not designed for towing but in the instance I quoted, the M3 had more traction available on its winters than the Suzuki thing on summers. Don't get me wrong, I love Range Rovers, especially the Classic. I'd have one if I had space to park it amongst my other cars! Would make a great winter vehicle.
I guess the HGV wasn't on winter tyres. That's the difference. My friend has towed a 4x4 Suzuki Jeep thing off its steep driveway using his M3 on winters.
