I do not claim to have produced or created these shows, nor do I monetize them. Hell, I didn't even write this silly poem. I had Co-pilot do it. I simply put these shows out here, for others to discover and enjoy. Share, like, comment, subscribe, and most importantly, support these artists!
The kings. I became a good musician, despite idolizing them. Maximum Rock n Roll reviewed my first band, and panned us saying we played Flipperesque dirges. I was so proud.

Hey, I've been digging into Minutemen's Campaign Trail tour and looking at this setlist, it just ain't right. At the very least some songs were shuffled around (presumably by the person/people who put this out on CD). Plus a little over 40 songs seems a bit much, even by Minutemen standards (they averaged a little over 30 songs per show around this time), so I do think there's quite a chance this is actually a compilation tape made up of recordings from both shows at Flynn's on August 1st and 2nd, not just the latter date.

Wow this had Emil on drums. He got a bit funky with that beat on Scream. The first Rat Music For Rat People has an excellent early lyricless verion of scream live somewhere, Biscuits' beat is hard and funky, and the Duke's bass fill's just nail it, it sounds really tight.

Around this time Spot was on Stella's Stray Pop snow on KXLU and played the BHS demo with White Dumb Ugly and Poor. Fortunately I taped it , mind blowing
If the timeline serves me correct, this MIGHT be Flea on bass. A very small window of time where the lineup was Morris/Hetson/Flea/Biscuits. Earl Liberty left the band after a show at Perkins Place in the spring. I could be right… could be wrong

Man, you early gen-xers were so lucky. In the immortal words of Vitus, I was "born too late." I would have been 12 here, I guess my mom could have dragged me.
