I am a Houstonian that loves to explore, by riding the bus, rail, subway/underground, planes, ferries, and other modes of transportation. My goal is for you to travel with confidence in using bus, trains, planes and other mode of transportation.
Personal Blog Check out the blog site that I document my experiences on riding the bus/rail/plans/other transportation. Please visit: houexplorer.com/
SystemMap.Info Check out the interactive transit map and tool that I have developed (all data are consumed by the local transit agency). Little by little, I'm adding more features and cities to the map- Houston: systemmaps.info/Map/Houston San Antonio: systemmaps.info/Map/SanAntonio Austin: systemmaps.info/Map/Austin Text Only: systemmaps.info
Thank you for sharing. Btw, one thing I’d like to mention. I would like to point out that these Stadler FLIRT’s are only found on the TEXRail and not on the TRE. So, if you live in Dallas, and would like to experience these, make sure to head to DFW airport and catch them at terminal A. :D
Curious, having ridden several commuter trains and Amtrak, I am curious what the state is cleanliness of the Tri-Rail train was. When i was there it was actually quite dirty. Which was completely opposite of Metrorail.
I'm really enjoying watching the trains here in Miami as they go by stopping and leaving the depot very nice. I hope that you are out of the way of the storm going through Florida stay safe and take care until next time Thank You.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
Great ride from the Metrorail Station to Downtown Miami. However, I think riding the Metrorail Green Line from Tri-Rail to Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre is better because of the frequency and is $0.25 cheaper compared to riding the shuttle train. Only take this method if you have plenty of time because you have to waste 1 hour of waiting for the train to arrive.
Yeah, I would agree too. I think Metrorail Green Line can be fast (during the weekdays). The weekends is a is a different story since Green Line arrives every 30 minutes.
What's up, man! I remembered riding this route from Aventura Mall to Government Center when the buses were free. Unfortunately, this route doesn't use articulated buses that much, and I think this route needs some adjustments, or maybe MDT should consider planning a new Metrorail line or Metromover that goes to Miami Beach.
Yes. Route 100 needs a train ASAP! Route 100 arrives almost every 5 minutes and yet, standing room only (and overcrowded). MDT is planning to build a Metromover between Omni Center (north of Downtown Miami) to Miami Beach. Not sure when the construction will start.
I always chuckle a bit when I see those little 1 car trains downtown. Of course I guess I shouldn't refer to it as a train, as that would imply more than one vehicle. As a kid of the 80s/90s, it reminds me of the trolley from Mr Roger's Neighborhood.
If songs in C major are so common I wonder if making GLB in D major was an intentional choice to help make the song stand out even more among all the new music that’s been released this year 🤔
Nice video! Did you got to ride Broward County Transit during your stay in Florida? If you did, then can you tell me which routes you rode. Have a good weekend!
I'm really enjoying your travels whether it be on a train or plane and this one in Miami on the Monorail is awesome and now back to your great video thank you.🚈🚋🚋🇺🇲
What's up, man! Glad that you tried the new Tri-Rail route and had lots of feedback about it! By the way, did you got a chance to ride Broward County Transit Bus or Palm Tran during your visit in Florida? Keep up the great work!
What's up! I haven't had a chance to ride Broward or West Palm at the moment. However, I am planning to visit Fort Lauderdale soon! Once I'm there, I will ride Broward and West Palm.
This is the best video I have watched about train travel between Miami and Orlando. You did a wonderful job of making the video long and showing details about the entire trip. Children and even adults were too noisy but this is not your fault but the parents . Brighlgline needs to offer a quiet car or enforce its own rules.
That's so cool, Have you tried riding the new electric bus on the 402 Bellaire Quickline and 28 OST Wayside routes because they both go to TMC Transit Center, You can do the 402 Bellaire Quickline route for Tuesday while you do the 11 route for Saturday to Hiram Clarke Transit Center.
Needed this video... I've been considering checking out this service....I might try it depending on my needs.... I hate driving, especially a gas guzzler
