love your model! i encourage you to make a larger scale where the cages move around the boom! my model looks very simliar to the one grag nuse made a while back with a few changes here and there.
Another ride that fascinated me as a child and one that I tried to recreate with K'Nex. I wanted to get the individual cars to move around the entire structure as well on a belt system, but could never figure it out.

I'm dying to know if these things have sensitivity settings on them. Or if you can set the amount of money that comes in before the claw actually grabs the prize and doesn't just drop it.
This machine only has one knob to adjust the claw strength.. but my newer machine has several settings.. the claw strength can be adjusted to weak or strong.. it can close strong by then get weak when it gets back to the top and drop the prize, or it can be set to “pay out” which means I can set the machine to let 1 out of every 5 tries be a win.. or 1 out of every 10 tries. If I set it to 1 win out if every 5 tries.. the claw will stay weak for 4 tries, and then it will strengthen on the 5th try and stay strong until a prize is won. There is a sensor in the prize chute that will detect a prize win and then the claw willl re set to weak again. It’s pretty neat how many settings it has

I see a few rides that remind me of ones I’ve actually been on! Makes we want grab all my friends and take a trip down to Six Flags! You should consider getting K’Nex action figures to scatter around the park and put on the rides.
