Hey John, here. I have had a passion for anything with an engine since I was little, puttering around the garage with my dad. In order to start mine after swapping it, I plugged in the automatic shifter assembly. It needs to see that it’s in park in order to start. I took the whole wiring harness off the shifter assembly and plugged it back into the car
Did you ever get the bcm programmed? Just finished the manual swap on my chevy SS last month and it drives but I need the bcm fully programmed for some little things that don't work
You should do a break down off all the parts youre using cause I’ve been doing a lot of research and it’s pretty cool to see how everyone is making it work since you can’t get the parts you use to be able to
I actually scored the full GXP swap so liking your video on the clutch pedal install. I just sent my BCM off to White media and am ordering my monster twin disk and Master cylinder and slave from Tick performance. Nice video I ended up also needing a new PCM as well since mine is locked from a non existent Tuner I had in 2011😅. So I just bought a spare BCM (sent to Whitr media ) and a new PCM to take the Holden manual file. I should be starting on mine in a few weeks so hurry up with video #3 🤣🤣
@@danielp6629 that’s awesome! It would have been nice to get it as a whole instead of piecing it all together. But oh well I’ll get there. I have been debating on sending my bcm to white for the manual tune. Would love to hear your experience from it.
Glad to have another swap video on here, I’m picking up a Nissan CD009 tomorrow and ordering an adapter kit because the 6060s/T56 are so expensive. Mostly worried about tuning. How did you tune yours?
Sadly the brake pedal was the only thing from a Camaro that I sourced which in the next video you’ll see has the wrong pedal height. All of the parts were for a Chevy SS.
Even the trans was from an SS? I just had an almost score of a whole GXP swap (harness /driveshaft / Pedal trim ring etc) come to find out someone stole the trans from his shop. It may still happen but doubtful. But I did score a TVS 2300 from him for super cheap 😊 What are you doing for a driveshaft? Subbed. Great video.
