Not everyone will agree with this but for the dlcs I just used cream installer to unlock all of them and the only ones I don't have available are the john wick dlcs I'm pretty sure.
Idk, for me as a frequent DSODer, the game has a certain "failing upwards" in design. Don't get me wrong, tools like overkill aced are fun for melting anything, but when not using stun based build on a hard hitting difficulty, switching to a different gun can often feel like an eternity. I am a point where I can't go back to Death wish since the enemies damage there is comical low by comparison, but I find myself in a love-hate relationship with DSOD mostly because it's one of the few PVE games that have pumped my addrenaline this much (for reference I thought I was gonna have a heart attack holding out for 8 minutes without players or bots to help). And DSOD also shits the bed in regards to balance and reveals a lot of ugly stuff. Shotguns not being all that good, the comical contrast between snipers (160 damage kind) and the assault rifles which serve as an all-rounder and a sniper is capable of outperforming the latter, the recently stealth updated fss mod into base game which has turned DSOD from manageable even on very meme builds to downright brutal and makes Tabula Rasa styled challenges even tougher to complete due to cop aggression. The admitedly welcome but lackluster tutorial for higher play as well as lack of information regarding infamying. It's a tangled mess of a game with some borked decks (looking at you leech and hacker) and some shoddily made decks (maniac). The most infuriating aspect is that the devs in my honest opinion, know nothing about balance. Why is the fucking AMR-16 a straight upgrade to most battle rifles (assault rifles that roughly do 100 damage) compared to the AK 762's shit fire rate, and slightly worse pick up? Why is the KSP 58 a direct downgrade to the KSP aside from when acquiring the "Hungry Wolf" legendary skin which not even players with 3k+ hours have unless via trading, if they even have a legendary at all? Why are some skills, and perk information innacurate such as fully loaded aced's throwablr pickup base percentage being dependant on throwable with the grenade being conveniently that same starting percentage or better yet, how gambler of all things increases its health and ammo value depending on the number of players and the value stated is before the select multiplier, which is still applied even if you are solo! Or how most of the post white house weapons are just overtuned, like obviously the legacy collection is good enough as is, just ask the 50 billion hacker mains that rock the AK 17 Mark 10 loadout by having a weapon with decent back up damage and high enough concealment to average a 2.5 hits per enemy or more. There's lots of criticism about this game the more you play it like every game you play for a long length of time but the game is a chaotic mess, an admitedly fun one. There is also a nice novelty in lower play such as the challenge runs akin to New Vegas of "can x beat this game", which given Payday 2's incredibly diverse pool of options is hella fun. I mean if I want to play as yang xiao long, I just equip muscle with Brother Grimm crits and berserk and have a blast as I respond to damage by giving even more of it just like the character.
i unlcoked pretty much everything, "quit" playing the game, came back to it, had a blast and remembered why i loved this game so much, and finding a video from somebody who is a bit of a newer player loving the game as much as i did around 2018/2019 is absolutely amazing also if you are as autistic as me you'd probably want to look at the story, it's absolutely balls to the wall but if you let it make sense it actually does and living it through events and updates was so fun you have no idea
The video is so fun ^^ I'm a hardcore payday (2, not 3) fan, and your video made me so happy ! Makes me recall of when I first played that game, and litteraly.. you told everything : loud, money spent on guns to fight the entire Washington Police Departement, and dayum good music. That recipe makes you stick to the game so damn well 😁
you shouldnt just play payday 2, you should also play payday 3 (as a pd3 main gamer) its gotten lots better than launch, and i dont know why people keep hating on it
it hasnt gotten offline mode yet, but gotten a single player mode, so you only connect once on start up and play as much as you want, even modded maps give payouts, and it is really good, the actual full offline mode will come in 2025
Typo, you still can play solo if you are an "independent dwarf who doesn't need other dwarf". Just don't engage with the community, but you have to admit the community is the one that keeps the game going and positive till this day, so yeah
Not for bedrock. And I actually like modern minecraft, just not some of the stuff mojang has been doing. For example, the firefly and birth forest thing. The game is fun. I just wish mojang was more honest sometimes.
Me and my stepbrother reconnected online and us and his friends started a server and we've had a good ass time bro the server so nice rn fr. Surprised I'm not burnt out but that's because I'm here from the start of the server and I'm actually having fun with them and committed to the world again.
Yeah, I really wish that the devs did not update Minecraft. I wish they just stopped adding new features that ruin the game and make it unplayable. I wish they stopped caring about the game so much and just let it die cuz the features they are adding now is not really helping the game. I totally agree with you. Fuck updating the game amirite?
That's not what I was saying. I never said that in the video. What I DID say was that they shouldn't say that they are going to add things and then cancel them for stupid reasons. I never once said they should stop updating the game.
I agree with a lot of what you are saying… though we have had very different expectancies with the game haha. Console edition, and mobile and bedrock in general… were always “fake Minecraft” it was the weird cash grab thing that was like a glitchy clone of Minecraft. But they were specially engineered to be extremely enticing to children under 10 (as Minecraft “proper” (Java) had already captured an audience of slightly older players. But as a result there were two communities (and still are two). Bedrock players tend to be younger (picked up the game after all of the new additions to the game) and the game play goals are different. So I think that’s a major cause of the changes in Minecraft’s culture. Also, Post the adventure update (beta 1.8) the games feel changed dramatically. There was a final boss all of a sudden, there were enchants and villages and and a hunger bar?!? (that one pissed off a lot of people haha) all of this new stuff and the game changed a little form a sandbox to an rpg. So once the majority of the community started after this major transition things got different.
Anyone else lowkey tired of seeing so many Minecraft commentary videos that “hate the game but love the game”? I understand and genuinely enjoy videos that give insight into a player’s feelings about how the game has changed. But nitpicky videos like this one and others aren’t constructive, and to me feel like a mere way to look for easy clicks because of the popularity of these kinds of videos.
You mean like 2011… beta 1.8 is the nexus event. I mean I still like Minecraft haha but it’s objectively changed and that was the major transition point.
