I didn't know how to contact you guys as the email address on your website does not work and I have no social media. Is there an email address I can contact about the price of the beginners course and membership?
Hi Leon, Our email is working for us? info@armouredcombat.co.uk All details about the beginners course including the price are on the website. Drop us an email or reply back here if it still doesn’t work.
@@armouredcombatgloucester no problem, just wanted to let others know so they dont click off of it. hats off to those competing, looks like great fun, tho even in full armour some of those hits look like they really hurt
@@t395delta most don’t, it takes a great amount of strength and power to strike hard enough to hurt someone in armour, whilst wearing armour. But those who can strike well and also know where to strike - they do hurt. Especially if they have a two hander.
@@armouredcombatgloucester yeah that 2 handed pole axe thing and one particular guy wielding it made me wince a few times, felling people with one swing. do you have any competitions coming up in england, would love to see it live

@@TheJumpingJakefrom what I've heard the celts only had women fight in desperate situations, like the defence of anglesey when they had few fighters left. Also the celts were all dead by the middle ages
The sport is called HMB, Battle of the Nations is one tournament of many but it’s the sport’s ‘world cup’. You are selected for your countries national team if you volunteer to try out. HMB is not a widely recognised sport yet. The only country to pay it’s athletes as professionals is Ukraine. Everyone else does this at their own expense.
@@CatGoesHARD it’s a nice thought, but unlikely. Even if/when the sport is recognised in more countries, competitors aren’t likely to be directly paid for it. At most, national organisations may receive funding to encourage participation.
2:20 That man looks so upset about the loss of his helmet and his disqualification. At least I got to see his face; he will be honored as a glorious combatant! 6:49 I also feel sorry for Sir Unnamed on the far left.
Is there an opportunity to introduce us to the combatants? I heard "Marika" a number of times, but it's difficult to differentiate when they're (reasonably so) covered head-to-toe in plate armor!
For future reference, if you divide your video into chapters within that single video, as was denoted by your slides, it will allow viewers to better reference their favorite fights!
For everyone that needs a competition trophy or a safe space needs to be put in this square there's a safe space for you in your competition trophy is a ax to the forehead.
