Great video. Much respect Grunt. I got nothing but love to my dysfunctional cousins in the Infantry on the Army side. Must be nice though, you jack asses get all the good freaking crayons.
For the love of god someone please tell me the name of the colonial style music in the beginning , heard it on the night I graduated on honor hill and cannot find the name of it .

Covid year was the year we graduated too lol.. they had kids crying saying they were sick to go to camp Kelly and be on their phones 😂We were in reception for an extra 2 months because they didn't know how to handle the situation.
Congratulations! I graduated in 1983 and my main advice would be to attend any schools for professional development that you are able and in the future don’t let negative soldiers make you ashamed of reenlisting or bring your morale down because believe me as you go to your duty stations you will have complainers and negative soldiers attempting to bring you down to a negative mind set! Stay strong and be proud of the blue cord infantry
I remember going to benning back in ‘93 and when I got my blue cord and graduated I thought I had just conquered the world until I got to my duty station Aco 2-14 inf 10th mountain. Boy that was a reality check. Toughest thing I ever did in my life but wouldn’t take back one minute of it
Greatest time of my life. Basic was the best experience I ever had. I graduated in 1993 (11B). Trained in Ft. Benning Ga. and then stationed in Ft. Drum NY. 10 th Mountain Division 2/14 Infantry (Golden Dragons). As soon as I got to my unit we were deployed immediately to Mogadishu, Somalia (Operation restore hope). In 1994 we were deployed in Haiti (Operation restore democracy). The last training I attended was in Ft. Sherman, Panama for jungle warfare training (jungle expert). This was the best job I ever had. I have to thank all my drill sgt. for teaching me to stay alive during my deployments. When the black hawks went down in Mogadishu we were the QRF at that time. They say, Rangers lead the way but on October 3rd, 1993 2-14 Infantry 10th mountain division…we led the way. My unit received the unit valor award, and was awarded the CIB. I suggest to all the cherries go to every school available and learn as much as you can. I got out in 3 years but I was a 11B/1L linguists. I was also airborne qualified, field sanitation, combat medic, air assault, and weapons expert. I carried the m60, m16a2, m203, LAW, AT4, SAW, 9mm. Hooooah!
Who gives a $h1t about the graduation ceremony? As long as they're lethal in combat. I'm gonna go WAAAAY out onto that limb over there, and guess you're a jar head.
Thanks for recording this and thanks for recording this so professionally! I’m the last guy in the 4th platoon at 27:00, now I can always go back to this video refresh those memories!

As the sound of an ambulance at 21:10 goes through sand hill in the background. Some private had a heat stoke after getting the crap smoked out of them probably 🤔
I like how the guys that are in full combat gear show and point to what the announcer is talking about and how the announcer is giving info on the wepons and gear as well as the attachments on the wepons that's very cool.
