Do u really recommend studying dentistry i am a lil bewildered between studying data analyzing or cyber security or anything in computer science and between med and dentistry💖💖
@@joodsaad-ms9vn dentistry is really enjoyable and i’m happy enough doing it. I like doing physical hands on jobs and making art so it was a good choice for me. I think you should consider which work environment you would prefer as computer science and dentistry will differ a lot. One thing with computer sciences is that there are a lot of work from home jobs if that interests you vs dentistry is always in person.
i don’t mind seeing kids for a filling or baby tooth extraction here and there but those are exhausting appointments FOR ME 🥵. much respect for the pediatric dentists out there taking care of the kiddos all day 🫶🏻
yes! scoop is clean plus all the items are individually wrapped anyway. the little cotton pellets get packaged and autoclaved (ran through a sterile system) before we use them too. i’m a stickler for infection control 🙌🏻💕
Is this supposed to be a joke? Regardless of good hygiene you can still inherit bad teeth and dental insurance is terribly expensive not included in your medical insurance and not many people have it even when they do it doesn't cover much
@@SadieChavella what are you talking about? the point of the video is showing how stressed dental clinic staff can be when it’s busy and we are running behind on time. no one is blaming the patients at all, we are trying to help everyone that we can
@@HeidiDMD you’re just not understanding. go ask a teacher or something. the video would be satire if the point of it were to make fun of the idea of a dentist making the video you’re making. that’s what satire is. satire is not another word for joke, and i think that’s what you think it is.
I've always wondered: why is it that some people seem to have much hardier teeth than others. I've always enjoyed good dental health despite my hygiene practices being less than exemplary, while people I know are constantly going to the dentist for root canals and fillings. "It's genetics" is such a nondescript explanation, too. What do the genes do differently?
Basically some peoples genetics cause them to either have more or less enamel, as well as have weaker enamel being softer and or harder, this is why some people who brush their teeth maybe only once a day but still have no cavities vs the person who brushes everyday who gets a ton, basically it’s all in the degree of how strong their enamel is and how that can possibly make them more vulnerable. I don’t know the exact genes or proper biology around it but thats the general gist.
@ardnas5771 that’s a good way to explain it! It isn’t all genetic either, the environment someone is raised in plays a part. If you live in an area that has fluoridated water then that population tends to have stronger enamel compared to someone that didn’t have fluoridated water growing up. also the bacteria in your saliva varies per person. usually we adopt what our mom’s have since they kiss us as babies the most. some people have more bacteria that tends to cause gum disease and some have the type that is more aggressive to cause cavities some people also have medical issues that cause dry mouth and that makes it harder to keep your teeth clean of plaque throughout the day so they need to be brushing and flossing after every meal to keep their teeth healthy
Hey Heidi - do you use any toothpaste for him or just water? which brand of toothpaste is best? Crest Whitening? Just kidding - I have been using Arm & Hammer chicken flavor them - thanks
