What I don't get, though, is why he tried sp hard in hiding the real person but created a show with him acting his own role, showing his identity to her.
it didn’t take much “stalking” to find her, everything is online: her tweets are still there, her previous stalking history is there, and on top of all that when show came out she started posting about it in her usual manner, completely outing herself. i don’t support some individuals harassing her in any way and i believe that she should be left alone, but let’s be real she’s not exactly helping the situation with her behavior
I think it’s not her. Somebody says it’s Maria Marchese, older woman who stalked a lawyer and was sentenced. In the film Richard says about age difference- the actress who is playing Marta is only 4 years older than he. But when we think about Maria- yeah, she’s older. Fiona seems to be in similar age as this actress.
Yes but the actress was supposed to be older and he was supposed to be younger. So he was in his 20s.. 27? And she was turning 43. The actors on the other hand are close in age.

i can't see how the tweets aren't real if they date back to ~2014, towards the end of the stalking. and AFAIK, Gadd's story first became public only at the end of 2019, with the show airing only a few weeks ago.
On both of her twitter accounts it perfectly matches that it's her...if Richard says it's not her that's just him covering her up which is why he's asking people to not look for her.
It’s got to be her. I reckon they didn’t have as close of a relationship as on the show, probably harassment mostly via email/ social media and showed up at his comedy gigs. They’ll never admit to it though and will be creating fake accounts to try and deny it to protect her.
