I'm usually more concerned about changes made to the game in localizations than just the translations, though translations matter more in certain kinds of games. In beat 'em ups like SoR, it doesn't matter too much what the characters say or what the storyline is. It's more about playing the game. If I was playing something like an RPG where dialog and story mattered more, I would be more interested.
@@FinalCrashSoR3Sometimes I just don't want to bother playing other game's version, I mean a game was released was finally released in your region so I finally can the game. Sometimes bothering with other game's versions is too much of a headache.
The remake mod? I was the one who started the project around a decade ago. It was cancelled at one point, but my friend wanted to pick it up and continue it. He also made sequels.
New content! How is your no death attempts with skate on 1st april prototype? So far I finished it with 3 lives start. So I started playing 2 lives start but without success so far. I've improved my game with Jet, so maybe it will work soon. Btw thank you cause I learned a lot from watching you
@@FinalCrashSoR3 yep 1st april prototype. Had him and one rocket in 3 punches back attack loop at the edge of the screen, but I did one punch a bit too late and he started to rise up and I couldn't continue the loop. Unfortunately, I only had one life when I came to it, so my fight with it didn't last long. btw, with this loop I took away 2 health bars from him, which has never happened to me before, even in the final version. btw2, to catch it in this loop the jet must be facing the edge of the screen but it's almost impossible to catch him with rocket together :(
I don't even think any of the music from the first game is from the 16-bit version, which I'm sure is what people actually wanted. Alongside bringing further disappointment, It probably made things harder to find fitting tracks when the SoR3 music is gone entirely. I already considered it a failure just for announcing only having music from 1 and 2, nothing from 3.
You know, when i look at Streets of Rage 3, at least changes, that were made to western versions, are justified and reasonable unlike Rushing Beat games (Rival Turf, Brawl Brothers and The Peace Keepers in the West), they were released as completely unrelated titles, what kind of logic is that?
@@FinalCrashSoR3What baffles me the most is that most of music in 3rd game was removed and replaced with ambient sounds. You know I can deal with bad translation, removing cut scenes between levels, removing a type of enemy, changing characters names, but removing MUSIC?
People call him a Max Lite. I disagree, his ranged tools give him more than enough of an identity to stand out, on top of having great grapples. I wouldn’t say he’s Max or Shiva tier, but his tools arguably make him the best of the 5.
The secret characters in this game are weird. You have Roo who’s kinda amazing, but also bad sometimes on top of having no upgrades? You also have Shiva, who’s unfinished, but has the best anti-air and “back attack” in the game. Which is enough to make him the best character. Roo being slightly unfinished, and Shiva even more so was a product of this game being rushed (still kinda fun tho). I’d really love to see betas of this game being leaked. It’d really show what might’ve went on in development.
@@FinalCrashSoR3 So... become a pro? Oh my!!! I was hoping you were gonna tell me some cheese strategy for noobs :( Like a spammable combo. Wich character would you recommend for the hardest difficult run?
@@AbrahamJesus-g7d Ricardo is easy to use and quite powerful, but he cannot run like the other two characters can. He may have some trouble catching certain enemies due to his lack of speed. Parrying instantly recharges your SP gauge, which lets you do your Special Attack without losing health, so you could get a free special each time you parry. You can keep using this to make use of Ricardo's long-range special attack and loop/counter certain enemies. As for some Ricardo combos: 1. Punch -> Punch -> Forward Throw -> Dash (repeat) 2. Dash -> quickly Rising Attack (in Ricardo's case, an uppercut) -> Special Attack (repeat)
@@FinalCrashSoR3 Thanks a lot man! Im going to try that strat!!! Ricardo is my favorite Character tbh and Gal is the one i'm worse at, I even have problems finishing arcade mode with her on normal
Maybe you didn't earn enough stars from points? Every 40,000 points without dying gives the running attack an upgrade, and you can tell by how many stars there are on the HUD (up to three).
You earn stars by earning points without dying (for that move, you need 2-3 stars). Or, if you're using a 6-button control scheme: Level 2 Blitz - X, Forward, Down Level 3 Blitz - X, Up, Forward, Back X is the button that allows you to perform these inputs you'd normally need to earn stars for, will vary by platform.
