you do such lovely reviews, this deck I feel has some issues as it is a struggle to see the meaning in many cards, Also the guidebook is not that accurate nor detailed esp for the price. If i was going to buy it it would be for the art work as it is so well done, but not for the use as a tarot deck - thanks so much
Thank you so much! <3 I do agree with you on that, the deck meanings can be a bit hard to see and the guidebook is not my favorite either. I do however enjoy the challenge though! Sometimes the cards that I don't initially understand, gives me really powerful readings through the different perspective that they offer, that I wasn't able to see before.
The older decks published by Fireside have somewhat thicker stock, I’ve had mine for 24 years. The newer decks published by Atria are atrociously thin.
Thanks for the info! I wonder how difficult it would be to get a hold of one of those, they are probably waaay out of print by now. I have however really bonded with my deck and the cardstock has held up really well. I have trimmed my deck and honestly, now I really love the feel of this cardstock. It is bendy and thin but honestly it is holding up a lot better than any thicker cardstock decks I have!
Is there anyone who would be willing to donate a deck for me. I'm just learning tarot and I so much want to start but I honestly don't have money to buy one . I'm in south Africa and they so expensive here
I wouldn't mind giving you a deck but honestly the shipping price from my country to yours would probably be twice as much as the deck is worth. Have you tried checking out regular online bookstores? Most mass market decks should be available through bookstores and some online bookstores do offer great deals. I do believe that for example awesomebooks.com deliver worldwide.
Thanks for posting this walkthrough! I actually like the fact that the Minors don't have correspondences with specific tales, instead they are like four fairy-tale-themed realms of mermaids, gnomes, dragons and fairies. What bothers me a lot is the Empress, just like it did to you. In a world full of gorgeous reinterpretations of a card related to abundance, fertility, creativity, love and female power, I really don't know why someone would choose to portray the Empress as a cold evil queen of Winter that hurts children. The guidebook saying the she represents abundance or anything good seems like an excuse to me. I've sent a DM to one of the creators to see what she would say about that choice.
Yes! you put it more eloquently what I was trying to say about the Empress card! I really am having a hard time with that one. I am warming up to the minors, but I don't know if I can get past the Empress card, it is such an important Major for me. I would love to hear what answer you get from the creator, if you get one!
Hi Sandi, Wow ...I do like a lot of the art in these cards. But good luck to you with trying to find connection to RWS meanings on some of the cards. I found the guidebook fell short of what the meanings are to me. But we are all different and I am sure others may still resonate with them maybe. Its a shame. I saw this come up of your channel. I fell instantly in love with the art and even went into looking at how much it was to get to Australia etc. before watching your video. Thank golly I did watch your video first. I believe if the guidebook was more inline with what I know the cards to be. And if all the art matched up to the cards meanings. Then I would have purchased this deck. quickly. So grateful I watched your video first. And its such a shame, as the art in lovely on so many cards. Miss not seeing you as much on your channel. Hi Terri! I must admit I was a little disappointed with the guidebook, but I love some of the artwork so much that I am willing to explore this deck some more. I am hoping to be able to film more often soon, I have released a couple of videos the last few weeks but it is sometimes a struggle to find a good time to film in the apartment I live in, unfortunately. I backed this and really, really wanted to love it. Maybe I just have all the animal decks I need and I don't need anymore, but I ended up not gelling with this and gifted it to my daughter. It is lovely. There was the option to get a bigger guidebook that does cover the choices some. I'm a little sad it didn't work for me. Your way of speaking and presentation is so soothing. I really enjoy your videos.

I had to stop the video when I saw the two of wands, I mean rods. The colors stunned me with their beauty. I started crying, even before I heard your dilemma with choosing. I am so scattered, trying to find my way, being pulled here and there. At a confusing stand-still. Part of the crying was of gratitude, for I am so grateful to have found the right cards for me. Thank you for a flip through, I am considering this deck and its nice to see it fully. Actually I like that minors don't have associations with certain fairy tales. With bigger spreads it would feel like a lot of concepts coming from all these stories. Like this those big archetypes come from stories from majors and minors are like connections between those big archetypes,making a bigger story for a reading in place of bunch fairy tales smashed together

Hi Sophia, If your deck didn’t come with a guidebook I suspect you might have accidentally bought a counterfeit deck. 😔 This deck will always come with a guidebook and a certificate of authenticity if it is a genuine copy.

It’s interesting how different the chakra decks read from each other. The fairies look stunning borderless. I don’t mind the border at all, but they do also look fab without. Thank you again Tegan for this fun tag! I really had so much fun, which was exactly what I needed ☺️ Yes! The fairies are just everything, that deck never seizes to surprise me! Sometimes I regret trimming it at all, and I thought I would get another copy but I am just so bonded to this one now it just wouldn’t feel right. And the reason I trimmed it in the first place was because the deck arrived damaged so the edges were ruined ( but that also meant that I got a refund) so the deck was free and it just felt like they wanted to come to me 😅

I’m really trying to find my groove again, and that means I’m focusing on fun stuff, and just whatever I want to chat about. Rather than trying to think up schedules and stuff. Oh Okies, that sounds like a good deal that they refunded given the state of it though. I can understand feeling so bonded to them now too. I feel the same about mine. I would consider a back up for of if I ever ruined and lost a card, but really I hope to make my last as long as I can haha. Despite my clumsiness.
I really liked hearing what the decks had to say for themselves. What a terrific idea to ask them. You inspired me to ask the deck I was shuffling while watching this video what attitude it had. The Spiritsong tarot replied with Strength, the keywords of courage and endurance. Considering the questions I was asking the deck, it was spot on. lol

If one can put in the work, thoth is the most interesting deck ever. Rws is to high school as thoth is to college or grad school. It is so layered the learning process never ends
I just found a used copy of this available and have been searching for an in-depth video. Thank you for taking the time to read from the book. The Chaos card actually fits perfectly for where I am at right now. Interesting how this happens, despite the video being from 2022.

I believe the reason because it's in french and english, or the drawings doesn't follow a pattern marseille or waite-smith is that 'it is inspired by love and queerness...' Queer it is related to not have a binary gender or position, thinking it's a marseille or a waite-smith deck follows a binary narrative
Tarot cards/readings are of Satan. The demons are the ones who are guiding/directing them and you. Please stop if you care about your soul and eternal life.
Oh I know what you mean, I felt the same way about the thoth for a long time. I don't know why I have this sudden interest in it. I really do love Frieda Harris' artwork though. The backs are not my cup of tea but even those have kinda grown on me. :D
Hi Sandi, Great to see your back. I must say I also ordered the "I am Here oracle" I received deck very recently also but no pin, no expansion deck. So you are actually luckier then I. I do live in Australia but that should have nothing to do with in. It was very disappointing that my other items didn't show up. Glad though that you received your's.
