Looking like good work so far! I love seeing stuff like this come together. Been watching @Virginiaisforlowriders and @lowerclassfab431 and your stuff popped up. Keep it up!
Loving this build! This exact project has been my dream truck for decades. I've also dreamed of a S10 Blazer XL. Remove the rear wall of a crew cab truck and graft a 2 door blazer back half to that. Basically creating a miniature suburban.
@magicman_metal_fab I also like the way everything is turning out. Going to be an amazing build when finished. I am building a Mazda similar to Crawford, and I have very few specific tools for the job. Grinder, welder, and a drill. So far I am really enjoying sewing the different ways you tackle situations.
What happens if keyway and magnet on old flywheel are not in the same position with old flywheel? On old one magnet is at 3 o’clock and new one is at 1 o’clock.
Nice!!! "Chillin!!!" Haven't gotten to the point in your older videos where you upgraded to the deep throated bead roller. At the beginning of the video, I was thinking "How did he do that?" LOL!! I need to step up my game!!! My buddy wants to do fender wells in his Minitruck in the fall. I'll be happy for them to turn out that nice.
I’m always by myself so I had to get an electric bead roller. They aren’t that expensive from Eastwood. Maybe you can pick up a used one on marketplace. 🫶🏻🫡
@@magicman_metal_fab I motorized my cheepie bead roller with an atv winch and reinforced the frame to help with the flex. I'll probably build one in a year or two with a deeper throat.
You are correct and thank you bud. I should have made it a little more clearer about the title. See this truck has been extremely difficult for me. The customer was extremely specific on a certain type of wheel he wanted to run. It’s a 20x9 with a 4.5 offset up front. In order to get this wheel to work I had to highly modify his geometry for his front suspension. When this truck lays out from edge of tire to edge of tire it measures at 60 inches. When you cycle the suspension that changes to roughly 62 inches. It had to clear the curve in the fenders. That’s what made this extremely difficult. So now when it’s laid out you can put your fist inside of the fender basically allowing it to turn almost lock to lock when it’s aired out. Everything has been extremely narrowed on this chassis that I’m building. Oh I forgot to mention that it has roughly 12 inches of travel up front 😂🤣😂. Hopefully this explains things a bit more clearly. 🫶🏻🫡
Hi I just wanted to say thank you for making this video it was very good but could you possibly make a longer version of where you talk more about being a journeyman?
Nice!!! I'm working my way through this build as I have time. I feel like everything I know how to do is built on something I have done and somehow fiberglass and wood working even knife making translates into metal work on these cars. I know you are way past the floors on this but if you haven't seen Khaos Designs. Go and check her out. I think the next project and the one after that are built on what we learn from others. I like how you did the floor braces and may use the same idea on my car. Have a good week!!!
Awesome work, the minimal amount of camber change as it cycles is pretty impressive. This may be my favorite video yet. I always enjoy seeing more of the work being done and the timelapse shots.
Thanks brother. It’s always difficult for me to create an entertaining video along with something that will captivate the audience. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🫶🏻🫡 I appreciate the love bud.
Thanks brother I appreciate it. I haven’t ordered a rack yet but it’s either gonna be Detroit speed or Flaming river. Heard stories about using a drift car custom rack but you have to modify the spindles.
What an exciting step in the progress!! Congratulations brother! Man, the consistency in the camber during that range of cycling is amazing 👏 Great stuff! 🫡🤙🫶
That works quick. Nice job. I will say, I can see how people might consider your videos over the top sometimes, but this was probably a good level of video for the general public who watch RU-vid videos to learn something or because it's interesting. Can't wait to see it with the body on.
Thanks brother, I was excited to see it all play out. I hope it was useful information for everybody. I’m trying to make my videos more enjoyable to watch. 🫶🏻🫡
