Rabbi Eved Banah (Christopher Fredrickson) is a former guitar player who is picking back up the instrument after 14 years. He will be talking about new equipment that has come out since he had left his guitar playing days and discussing the new technology in guitar that is out there today. He will also review guitars and give pointers to people starting out in guitar in a way to where he doesn't try and portray himself as a expert but instead tries to get people over their playing hurdles in a real way.
Christopher is also a teacher for beginners at the Guitar Academy www.guitaracademy.us
Grave Deception going on here, Professing yourselves to be wise you've become FOOLS. Repent. There is no other name than JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth whereby you must be saved. The New Testament in the KING JAMES BIBLE was translated from GREEK NOT HEBREW. The Hebrew language movement is the wicked perverse movement of the JUDAIZERS as you all are. You all will embrace the false messiah unless you repent.
Scripture gives the definition of antichrist like this: 1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 1Jn 2:23 WHOSOEVER DENIETH THE SON: , THE SAME HATH NOT THE FATHER..... You are going to be lead astray if you do not hold fast to how we first received the faith, which is very different to what you are saying. John warned us to hold fast to what we heard at first, right after he defined "antichrist" for us. He said: 1Jn 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. What is written, is written and scripture cannot be broken.
Expose Darkness Amen!!! Listening to these workers of iniquity who are Reprobates are modern day Judaizers. Wicked in every way. They do not know Jesus Christ. I thank you for notifying me of this
I have an Ibanez RG655 with floyd rose. It stays in tune extremlly good over time to. I dont have locked it at all it is fully floating. But here is the thing i never have had any problem with it at all even when i put on new strings. I do it this way. 1. I put a aa battery under the floyd so it dont dive down when i loose the tension on the strings. 2.I take of all 6 strings. 3. I clean the neck when i dont have any strings in way. 4. I put on the new strings and i always use the same thickness of the strings. 5. I stretch the strings for abit. 6. I put the finetuningsnobs in middle so i can tune both ways. 7. I tune up the guitar and lock the strings with the lockingnuts. 8. I take away the aa battery under the floyd. 9. I use the finetuningsnobs to get the tune. 10. Finish. I never have had any problem to tune the guitar. I belive the secret is point 4 that i always put on identical strings as was on it before. Problem can be if you decide to drop to example drop D then you most likelly need to adjust the springs to but it uselly is not to much of a problem if you know the logic that the floyd rose need have same tension on both the strings and the springs.
This will replace my Randall 1/2 stack and fit on my pedal board. This thing kicks ass. We all already have flooe effects and an amp so all this does is allow you to leave your amp home and sound killer anywherewhile taking up a small footprint.
This is so funny. It does say Aplidelay and amplichorus so why do none of these work. Amplirube flat out lied. It only does amp and cab profiles since you cannot sample a time based effect. In short they should just call it "Amplitube Tonex". I mean even volume on your guitar and amp level react like it is a tube amp. That is amazing. I put a boost in front of mine and a delay pedal after and any of my guitars sound freaking amazing. I can't believe how good it reacts like a tube amp. I have it plugged straight into a mixing board and MEsa Boogie is right there. So hey good folks at Amplitube lets thisnk about calling it what it really is. An amp and cab profiler. I had a Kemper mini onoprder but it is cancelled. I got the Blackstar MIDI pedal to control it all so I am in heaven.
They got ya buddy 😢 I haven’t bought a name brand guitar in years, your better of building some parts guitars. especially if you have some knowledge about building guitars and even if your just learning you really should start building them. Good luck man
When I was around 18 (not that long ago) I saved up around $900 to go and buy myself an upgrade from my Squier I had been playing. I tested different guitars at Guitar Center to see which one suited me and almost every Fender I tried was constantly going out of tune or sounded like shit. I ended up buying an aquaburst Schecter CR-6 for $700 that was on sale, (normally $1,199, basically stealing it), and after taking it home and setting it up it plays like butter even today years later. Dont think I will ever buy a Fender any time soon, but if I do the only models I like are the Jagstang, the Mustang and the Jaguar because of their shorter necks.
No a Mexican Strat is not like a USA made Strat. The finish, the hardware, pickups, switches, nut materials and pots are all different. I own both. And far and away prefer a vintage style USA fender, a lot of things you are complaining about sure seem like basic set up issues, and I have never had a nut on any fender neck cut short, not Mexican , not an American, not a custom shop. They were all high, and needed set up. And I have purchased many fender necks for parts builds. All were high. I really think this dude screwed up the nut himself. Mexican nuts are molded, not cut, they are all high, and he over cut it, then blamed fender. Sorry dude , not buying it. I know better.
I screwed up the nut myself without even touching the guitar when it was unboxed on the live stream? Are you high? You must work for fender because there are numerous videos showing the same issues I had straight out of the box with Mexican made and American made fenders. To be a moron somewhere else
I bought an Ultra Jazzmaster. Caused minor cosmetic damage just adjusting the trussrod. The headstock is not treated - softwood, doesn't make any sense. Then there is the cheap walnut hollow dowel - it cracked when the hex slipped. Was so mad I just stuck a sticker over it, lol. The bridge height adjustment uses a hex that is .05"? Do you know how easy it is to lose or break that wrench is? 3rd - have only had a few months, much of which has been in the case and the pickup switch is already crackling like hell in the middle position. My first and possibly last American Fender. I have heard the MIJ's are as good/better for a fraction of the price.
Puts me right off all these RU-vidrs who stick a big mic in the middle of the screen. There must be better options? Looks terrible and a can’t watch for long. Lasted 5 mins before switching off but only because it took time to write this.
Bought a roadworn 60's jazz bass brand new last week just as something new. I swore off anything MIM when it came to Fender as i've had so many QC issues. I learned this many years ago and now only have US MM, GL, PRS, GIBSON. I had a bad feeling about this bass coming in and when it did.....within the first minute or so i noticed a 3/4 depth crack at the headstock that extended from the end of headstock, to underneath the E string Tuner. This was a brand new unused Fender in a Fender Classic hardcase. Although i have liked my US Fenders, i refuse to buy anything from Fender again.
I just wanted to extend my deepest. Thanks for making this video. There are a lot of budget guitars that are great out here but Opening more avenues of places to go to get. Decent guitars without breaking the bank is always a plus in my book. I have several gnot, really a collector but kinda am in a sort. But you have featured a couple of places, I've never heard of that. I will be checking out because of this video. Thank you again for making this video. For the rest of us🎉
Going from a 1/8 inch stereo to a mono 1/4 into another amp.....it's like crickets have invaded my house....terrible noise. Not worried about stereo signal into my other amp
I just ordered a gold top right now from BTCustom after watching this video. I am in Ireland. Hopefully it arrives without any hassle. Will update you if and when it gets here.
God this video sucks! I saw the thumbnail and was hoping youd do like other more qualified guitar knowledge guys like Phillip mckinght..or glen flicker god dude don't lie to people with ur thumbnail then talk about your past with thus guitar then just sho off a rando lookinf usa moderen fender sss strat boring dude! Read the room my guy! I can see crap like this in video's from 4 years ago dude next time actually show the Pickguard off with said pickups 1st or talk more about it. U know someone that has actually knowledge about gear!.. i couldn't click thumbs down fast enough!
i purchased the Marty Schwartz ES335 and was not happy with it. It felt cheap and needed some work to get it playable. Im hope that this Bonamassa is not the same since its nearly twice the price too.
Thus far it seems to be pretty good. The pickups are great. And Marty I think was trying to make a beginner guitar. I hate you had a bad experience with it. Sounds like you had similar QC issues I got with my Fender Stratocaster Player Plus. Though i donno of anyone who had such playability issues as I had with that sucker. That had been the worst guitar I ever owned at the start and then after spending hundreds of dollars on it to get it fixed and swapping out the pickups it is now a rather decent guitar.
@@theguitarrabbi7173 youre right Marty making it a beginner guitar, this was for my son and I had also purchased a green epi explorer and was blown away on the playability and feel on that one. Slightly cheaper too
The only things that matter to me is the neck and tuning stability Everything else is a complete waste to spend a significant amount of time, energy and money on- just change the damn pickups/electronics etc but keep in mind that there will not be magical changes between pickups that we may all want there to be At the end of the day you can pursue the short-lived dopamine hits of lusting after gear but the real hit is from learning to actually play
Not the case the only time it is the case is when is if you are using so much distortion it doesn’t matter. But for the other 95% of guitarists who don’t just chug the low E it makes a hell of a difference. I have done several videos showing that.
You may wanna look up the word “expensive” and “a bunch”. You realize you are saying this to a person who only pays themselves $280 a week. And all of these guitar except 2 are below $1,000. You realize this right?
Late congratulations on your buy!! I just bought my November Burst Friday the 19th of April. 2 days ago, I was lucky to get it from the Gibson store in Nashville, where they treat you like King!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I didn’t know the story behind his Gibson so thank you for that little peace of history!! Also glad to know you are Jewish as is my wife!! 🫶🏻 Hope you are still liking your guitar, I absolutely love mine. Went from a Gibson Classic to this one!! It just looked and felt nice!! 😊🤙🏻
The Chibson's on Brandon's Custom Shop do not have the Gibson open book headstock shape. Did he start changing the headstock to his own shape over the years since this RU-vid video was posted in 2021?
Gibson are liars. 80s standards didn’t have 50s necks and they had Swiss cheese neck relief. This really isn’t close to “Jessica”. The honeyburst “classic” is closer, though not a perfect match. One thing they got right: “Jessica” was a factory second and so is virtually everything Gibson makes these days. I understand you like a thick neck and no weight relief but it’s simply not what “Jessica” has. “Jessica” has swiss cheese weight relief and a slim taper neck.
@@theguitarrabbi7173 What would you call messin with the logo to get thru customs then finding some Gibson decal. I call that cheating, unless I mis-understood your intent, then I apologize. And the whole Chibson with a Gibson logo and made in usa stamp, & phony serial#. Remember what goes around comes around.
I returned a Fender American Professional II Precision Bass today. The quality control was shockingly bad, namely fret sprout and a broken truss rod. How the bass ever left the factory in Corona is a complete mystery to me. I opted to keep the Mexican P bass I have. I upgraded the pickups to Custom Shop 63 and installed a high mass bridge. It plays and sounds like a dream.
I have a 2013 version of the Vintage V100 Lemon Drop... I prefer the earlier models because they have the regular les paul neck heel and the correct body curve around the pickup switch area going into the neck joint... This does make all the difference in appearance... I believe they introduced the newer funky neck heel when they ran into trouble with Gibson... They will probably sound the same though.. Its great that they have a long neck tenon and a rosewood fretboard along with a thick maple cap... It is a really great guitar that has very nicely voiced pickups.
