Tonight, for example, the couple would picnic at 55°F on a rain-soaked blanket and no stars in sight due to a massive wad of clouds. At least this means respite from the heavy pollen flight. He'd give her an adoption certificate for a Moroccan rescue donkey that he named after her. He would present her with an out-of-date Jaffa cake, play England's Best Football Chants on his loudspeaker and give her a DYI necklace made from macaroni he found in the back of his utility drawer. Then he'd gently whisper "Can I borrow a tenner?" into her ear. I'm glad your stories aren't set here.
